From our travelers
I loved the hotels, border collie herding, Irish coffee, as well as the Guinness and Smithwick’s tours. The tourist spots and local pubs gave a balance to the trip and I fell in love with the beautiful countryside and, most of all, the people I met in the pubs. Easily the best trip I have taken.

I enjoyed having the transportation and excursions planned for me. Basically you just need to show up. Your tickets, hotels and meals are all decided ahead of time and well appointed. Also there was the option one night to see a River Dance show which was unexpected but very desirable. One of the highlights of our trip. I enjoyed hearing the Irish "craic" and being entertained in the pubs. Another highlight.
I liked staying in a town more than one night. That gives the tourist the option of going with the bus driver the next day or doing something on your own locally. The scenery we saw along the way was the reason we decided to visit and it exceeded expectations.
Overall, the trip was fabulous, but one wish I had was for a more varied menu. The food served at the hotel dinners was good and prepared well, but the menus were not varied enough.

The trip was very well-paced, informative, and fun. There was a great variety of activities, and a good balance of group tours vs. free time. Our tour director was personable and insightful.

We had the best time
Best beer and whiskey we've ever had. Saw everything we came for. Comfortable, classy throughout. A few misses (like the Whiskey Museum) but the hits (like Sean's, and the Marine Bar) more than made up for it. We really had a blast, thanks mostly to PJ's expertise.
