Everything, as described, and more!
As expected, everything was planned well and went off without a hitch. Our guide, John Cunningham, and our driver, Sarah, were the perfect professionals, but were also approachable and friendly. The hotels were very accommodating, and the food was fabulous. Looking back at the photos, it is still amazing to me just how many places we saw in the two weeks. We'll definitely do a CIE Tour again.

Irish Adventure - 9 Days/8 Nights
Can’t say enough good things about this tour!
We loved it and had a very congenial, friendly group. CIE handled everything perfectly. Our tour director/coach driver Tony was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable, and all the local guides were superb. The hotels were first rate, with very friendly and helpful staff, and all the meals provided were excellent and well chosen. For the times we were on our own, the recommendations for dining were very good.
We particularly enjoyed visiting the famine ship, which provided great insight into the famine and Irish emigration. Our guide in Derry, Charlene, spoke movingly of Derry’s past and hopes for the future. Of course the sheepdog demonstration was fascinating to watch. We also enjoyed the stops for shopping. All the stores had a great selection at good prices. We loved the tour and loved Ireland. We were looking forward to our next trip before we left Ireland for home. We definitely highly recommend CIE Tours.

Full Scottish Experience
There’s one constructive negative about the Scottish Experience Dinner. I’d keep it but soften it slightly and place it toward the end.
Great overall experience. I traveled to Scotland 10 years ago, but didn't feel like I really saw Scotland until this tour. I feel like I had a full Scottish experience. The itinerary was great, with so many things to see and do and so many highlights and memories I'll cherish forever.
Graham Bruce was an excellent tour guide. He had such interesting stories and shared lots of historical details. I also loved the music he occasionally played. The bus driver, Davey, was great as well. The hotels were comfortable and hospitable, and the food, overall, was good.
My only suggestion would be the Scottish Experience Dinner. Service was slow, and I didn't enjoy the entertainment as much as the other experiences. It was also strange to be seated with other tour groups. Overall, I would definitely recommend CIE Tours in the future.

Taste of Ireland (Tour A) - 7 Days/6 Nights
Incredible Tour of Ireland
Beautiful country and people. Truly an enjoyable vacation. Austin, our driver/tour guide, was fantastic. He was extremely knowledgeable and eager to share information about Ireland. There are many places in Ireland I still want to explore. I may have to do a different tour or type of tour to see it all.

CIE did all the heavy lifting of coordinating everything
We were able to basically explore most of Italy in a fast paced 10 day tour. CIE did all the heavy lifting by making the arrangements for all the stops along the way. That took a lot of planning and connections!

Irish Odyssey - 12 Days/11 Nights
Best trip we've ever taken!
The accommodations were absolutely perfect each night. Ending our trip by sleeping in a castle was unreal. The selection of entrees at each meal was perfect, and all of our meals were delicious!
Not only were we able to experience the usual recommended places, but CIE's selections of some out of the way, unexpected places was refreshing. From day one everything was well organized. John, our guide/driver, was remarkable with how he could drive that bus and narrate so efficiently. Plus, he was so full of knowledge, we could ask him anything. He was absolutely perfect for our group, and we will miss seeing him. He became such a wonderful part of our "family." It's hard to express how happy we were with our trip!

Taste of Britain & Ireland - 14 Days/13 Nights
Trip of A Lifetime
CIE Tours exceeded my expectations. An extremely well organized tour that covered the places that I most wanted to visit in England, Scotland and Ireland. Exceptional local tour guides, Lisa (UK) and Darragh (Ireland), shared the history of their country of birth, personal experiences and the current view of the general population.
All that was required was to have our bags outside the door at the designated time in the morning, and after that we were totally taken care of until the bags were delivered to our hotel room in the evening. The CIE tour was reasonably priced and included daily breakfasts, many three course dinners, entrance to all sites, porterage, pleasant accommodations and a final stay at Fitzpatrick Castle Hotel.
Personal highlights were the Tower of London, Windsor Castle, Boat Tour in the Lakes District, Liverpool (Beatles), Stena Ferry with Spa, Edinburgh Dinner and Whiskey Experience, Titanic Museum, Belfast, Guinness Storehouse, Dublin, Blarney Castle, Lovely Dingle and the best sheep dog show ever! City tour guides provided were high quality and informative.
Incredibly impossible to cover all the above sites independently in 14 days! The tour is fast paced but worth every moment. Frequent comfort stops and incredible bus driver, Darragh. At no time did I feel unsafe in the coach.
Congratulations to CIE, 94 years and still providing exceptional service with a reasonable price point. They have had lots of practice!

The Irish Pub Tour - 9 Days/8 Nights
Every detail was covered as far as the travel and the transportation to and from the airport. The tour guide/bus driver was awesome. He made the tour part amazing. Each stop was so well planned from the Irish coffee break at the Marine Bar to the Cliffs of Mor. Dennis O'Sullivan was the drivers name who was incredible. We saw so much of Ireland it was incredible. The pubs and Guiness and Jamison Tours were just icing on the cake.

We picked this itinerary because it included almost everything we wanted to see on our first visit to England. It did not disappoint. Everything was great with the exception of our airport transfer upon arrival. The driver was not clearly visible after multiple passes of the area. We had to call the number provided to make contact. It was done quickly.

Best tour of Ireland
This was a fabulous tour with a jam packed itinerary. We saw all the major sites in Ireland that I wanted to see. Murt, our tour guide and driver, was extremely knowledgeable about Ireland, its history, and how that relates to US history. This was a wonderful vacation that I would highly recommend, along with CIE.

Something for everyone!
Variety of tour. So much to see and do. The tour, food, sightseeing and historical sites were amazing. Our tour guide Andreia was simply phenomenal. Could not have asked for a better host. Shout out to bus driver Marco also!

Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way - 9 Days/8 Nights
A Great Way to Experience Ireland
Our tour guide was funny, considerate, and well versed on matters of Ireland. The hotels where we stayed were very comfortable and offered spectacular breakfast choices. The amazing landscapes of Ireland were well captured and our tour bus stops provided opportunities for restroom breaks, photos, shopping, dining, and a glimpse of everyday life in cozy Irish villages. The scheduled tours hit all the right spots from history to pottery and weaving to a sheep farmer's life with his smart and trusted sidekick, Pip (one of my personal favorites)! We traveled in October, had great weather (not too much rain), and the price we paid was very reasonable for all the memories we made!

Perfect trip! Food, hotels, tours were all awesome! I had taken a CIE tour of Ireland in the past. Me and my friend took this tour for our 60th birthdays. We hit all the locations I wanted to see. The hotels and tours were all just perfect! It was a GREAT trip! Can’t say enough about our tour director and driver!

Our Travel Agent Tara brown to CIE tours this was an awesome trip of Italy historical culture. Andrea is an awesome tour guide. She’s a walking encyclopedia. Rocko kept us safe traveling in a comfortable coach bus. The friends we made became like family. The sites and country side is like going back in time to historical sites and spectacular country side views. Food & Wine is so good!! I strongly recommend this Italy vacation!!

Tuscan Treasures with Cinque Terre - 8 Days/7 Nights
Great travel director/guide and planned itinerary.
I enjoyed the planned activities and free time in each region. I learned a lot of history and enjoyed the wine tasting and wonderful food. I traveled with CIE to Ireland and had such a great experience that I trusted them again for the trip to Tuscany. I selected this particular tour for the itinerary that I wanted.

Evergreen Ireland North - 7 Days/6 Nights
Excellent Tour
This was one of the best tours we have taken. TJ was a fabulous driver and tour guide and his knowledge of Ireland was limitless. The sheepdog stop and the Crosskeys Inn with the Irish music was so enjoyable we hated to leave. I highly recommend this tour.

Northern Lights Quest of Iceland - 6 Days/5 Nights
Iceland was amazing
Our tour guide Maria was informative and interesting. There was so many beautiful things to see and we got to see the northern lights three nights in a row. My goal was to see the northern lights, but the lava fields and waterfalls and glaciers were just tremendous. The whole trip was well put together and very enjoyable. Something I’ll always remember.
