Best of Ireland South (Tour A) - 8 Days/7 Nights
Great way to see Ireland!
CIE got us to experience things that we never would have seen on our own. CIE and our guide & driver Ollie did a great job. Ollie was very well organized and informative. He kept all twenty-two of us punctual and up to date with the day’s itinerary.
The only thing I would suggest would be to either change the first Dublin hotel or inform guests that the Talbot Hotel is actually not in Dublin center.

What a great driver we had. It was amazing to hear his commentary. Great tour, good driver, fantastic hotels and amazing cuisine. Everything seemed to beat our expectations.

Taste of Italy with Sorrento - 10 Days/9 Nights
A Taste of Everything
The trip was fantastic! Our guide, Diana, took very good care of our group. The accommodations were centrally-located and well-appointed. Transportation never kept us waiting. The local tour guides in each city were knowledgeable; one recommended a restaurant in Florence which turned out to be the best meal of the trip. We especially loved the boat tour around Capri.

Northern Lights Quest of Iceland - 6 Days/5 Nights
Highly Recommend
This is our second bus tour with CIE Tours. They do an excellent job. You see a lot of a country in a short period of time. Bus is modern and comfortable. Good tour guide. Good itinerary. Quality hotels. Decent food. We did not get to see the northern lights, which was disappointing, but no fault of CIE.

Taste of Scotland & Ireland - 11 Days/10 Nights
Excellent tour
Overall the tour exposed us to the beautiful sites of Scotland and Ireland. It was just a taste of the countries. The tour was well run and organized. Both Marie and Gordon were excellent hosts. We would have liked to have more free time to meet the locals and experience more of the local vibes.

Southern Gems - 7 Days/6 Nights
Lots of new experiences. This was my 6th CIE tour and wound up going to places we hadn’t been to before. Guide and driver were great. Enjoyed Kinsale, the Foynes Flying Boat Museum, Taylors Three Rock and Knappogue banquet, much better than Bunratty. Just wishing for more time in Kinsale.

Our Italy trip was a bucket list trip of a lifetime! We used CIE before on our Ireland trip. Since that trip was excellent, we knew we wanted to use CIE again. Our tour guide Giulia was outstanding! She was very professional, organized, enthusiastic, funny, and a lot of fun! She really helped make our trip special.
We saw and learned all about the history and culture behind the historic sites and local background of Venice, Florence, Rome, Pompeii, Sorrento, Capri, Positano, Amalfi and the Amalfi Coast. We enjoyed delicious fresh Italian food, wine, and finished with plenty of gelato to finish it off! We got to share the experience with a diverse tour group of 34 people from all over the United States. We met as strangers and left as friends! Lots of fun and laughs.
This was a bucket list trip of a lifetime, and Giulia and CIE made it so. Thank you very much CIE! We highly recommend this vacation and would go back in a heartbeat!!

Scenic Britain - 9 Days/8 Nights
Very beautiful country!!! We had a wonderful experience on the Scenic Britian Tour. Our guide, Gareth, shared a wealth of historical knowledge about the areas we went to, along with relevant knowledge of the everyday life of the English. He kept things very fun with all of his great stories, and pointed out tasty eating spots, and must see parts of the cities we visited. He was also very organized. We liked knowing what to expect for the next day of stops, the evening before. The cities and countryside of England is truly beautiful!

Best of Spain - 9 Days/8 Nights
A well organized whirl wind tour of the highlights in the cities of Spain.
The hotels were nice. Our guide and the guides at the sites were very good. It was very well organized. The coach was very nice. The dinners and breakfasts were very good. We had a wonderful meal in Barcelona the last night. There was a lot of walking that needed to be done, but the pace was reasonable. I would recommend this tour for those who are in good shape and can manage walking, standing and getting on and off the bus. There is some down time which was helpful.

Great Icelandic tour
It was very nice seeing so many sites in the entire country. Our tour guide, Kat, and bus driver Siggi, were great! So nice to have locals describing the country and various sites.

Ring road trip
Beautiful fall colors. Good mix of nature, geology, and Icelandic heritage. Enjoyed our guide Kat's singing and playing Icelandic music on the bus. Great ring road itinerary with good hotels and food. Saw auroras and beautiful golden fall colors.

Scottish Daytripper - 6 Days/ 5 Nights
Tour guide, Steven and excellent, safe driver were both very compassionate to other's with special needs.
Beautiful tours, plenty of stops overall wonderful vacation. I was very surprised by the service at the first evening's dinner is was sub par what I expect from CIE on my 4th tour. The kitchen sent food out to 1/2 a table, each person was eating a different course, and food was not very good or hot. I think Fitzgerald's Woodland Resort in Adare, Ireland last year has raised my expectations of what CIE provides. Overall Govener's Hotel in Glasgow was a disapointment. Rooms were promised ready by 1pm, and not available until 2pm. If the tour begins at 2pm, people should not be waiting in lobby with suitcases. 50% of wake up calls were received. Food ran out often at breakfast buffet, bananas, milk, eggs etc. Only one toaster available.
The rest of tour was excellent, I think CIE should reconsider their hotel in Glasgow.

The best way to see Iceland
Kat and Sigge were the most amazing guides!! Kat was entertaining and educated us on everything Icelandic in the best way! The best part hands down were the Vok baths and Geo Spa. The black sand beaches with the chunks of ice were unlike anything I ever seen! Accomodations, information given, stories told, experiences, photos and the people left such found memories that will last a lifetime! What a wonderful experience.
I loved that we went all the way around Iceland and really enjoyed being the only people in certain areas.

Northern Lights Quest of Iceland - 6 Days/5 Nights
Breathtaking Adventure!
The tour was nice and well organized. However, our director was ill. He had trouble talking without coughing and was visibly not feeling well. As his health improved over the days, he did gain a bit of energy and personality the last day and a half. He probably should not have been on the trip.
The weather was unusually rainy and we weren’t able to see any Northern Lights so the tour name is not completely accurate.
It would have been nice to know how many people were in the group prior to booking. Some people, like us, would prefer a small smaller group, more agile group. There were too many that were unable to maneuver or endure the trails and duration of the sites.
