An amazing trip to Scotland.
Fiona and Mark were both amazing. What they added to the trip while they were we’re traveling to and from destinations was just amazing. Fiona seemed to know everything about Scotland and shared it all with us. Mark made sure we were always comfortable and got us to and from destinations in comfort and safe. When he shared while the coach was parked it was pure joy. The tour was thoughtfully put together and it filled every day. To make the tour greener, I would suggest having people pick what items they wanted in their packets (ie backpacks, water bottles, adapters, etc). Some travelers already have those items and it will just go to waste.

Excellent Comprehensive Tour of Ireland
Friendly people in all the hotels and towns. Tours were well planned and informative. Driver was very knowledgeable. Very organized tour. Pre tour information was very useful. Hotels were nice and food was good however, meals were rushed. Would like more time and not be made to order immediately after sitting down. Tour guide /driver was awesome.

Excellentt tour of Ireland.
I definitely recommend CIE. I will be using them for Scotland. I had an excellent driver. I traveled solo and felt comfortable. I met some great people by doing this tour. I loved the Causeway and Kilarney... The Irish hospitality is wonderful.

Irish Adventure - 9 Days/8 Nights
Don’t miss CIE’s Irish Adventure
I thought CIE did a great job! The accommodations were wonderful with boutique type hotels that were above average. Most had no air conditioning, but that didn’t matter with the cool evening temperatures. Our tour guide, Patrick, was also wonderful…very knowledgeable and a Killarney native. The stops along the way were all spectacular! The food and supplied meals were plentiful and mostly delicious. One suggestion is to build in more time for meals…we felt rushed for several meals.
The included tours were also mostly wonderful. The only one I would pass on was the Titanic museum in Belfast. It was very very crowded, had WAY too much information to even begin to get through (on limited time) and it was very confusing. It was a disappointment to us. You’re on the bus a lot, but that’s the nature of the beast. The bus was comfortable and since we paid to be in a smaller group, we had only 26 people and could move around and stretch out on the bus. I’d highly recommend going with a smaller group.
All in all, we were very pleased and would highly recommend CIE’s Irish Adventure trip!

As I said above, every part of the tour went very well. The perfect weather really helped. Almost every part of the tour was excellent. Some of the buss rides were a little long. Otherwise, we had a brilliant time.

Best of Ireland South (Tour A) - 8 Days/7 Nights
This trip was wonderful met all of our expectations and more!
Just the beauty of Ireland can’t be compared to photos. Met some wonderful people and had fun. The only thing we found some difficulty with was the on off bus. Couldn’t always find the stops. Maybe just have this ironed out prior. We were also sleep deprived the first day trying to navigate. Accomadations were great. I feel that we got to see as much as possible for 7 days!! Our tour guide Les was amazing his knowledge unbelievable!

Great value, Great tour
Great value, We were able to explore “touristy places” like Stonehenge and fun out-of-the-way places like Tavistock. David (guiide) and Ian (coach drvier) were super. Competent, cheerful. We had a great tome. Good values, great tour.. Would definitely recommend.

All of our accommodations were very good with the exception of the Royal Marine Hotel. It had no AC and is in need of a refresh. Our program tour guide brought the tour to life with his knowledge, humor professionalism.

A real taste of Scotland and Ireland
My wife and I always dreamed of seeing Scotland and Ireland. This trip did not disappoint. Our tour guide (Onya) and driver/ guide George were brilliant. Be prepared for a lot of bus time, but the guides made it all very educational and memorable. The sights were incredible.

Best tour of Ireland
This tour was much more than I expected. We had 20 people on it and we all got along perfectly, new people new adventures. Our bus driver was very well informed about Ireland which made it more adverturesome. Also, exceptional hotels and meals.

Great country and Tour
Beautiful country and great tour. Our bus was clean, comfortable, and roomy. If you enjoy amazing scenery, geology, archeology, history and a friendly country—this is the tour for you. Fantastic driver (Laurence) and local guides—especially (Phil). When Laurence was our driver and guide his responses to our needs and questions were always excellent. He is one of the most humorous people I’ve met. He met all our needs—including those of a 10 year old. He was great with all of the ages—10 to 78. He was a safe and skillful driver.
