Great trip and guide!
This was a great tour to get to see so much of England. Our guide, Lisa Richardson, absolutely made the trip. Was able to see more than if we tried to do it all on our own.

Scottish Isles and Glens - not to be missed!
We chose this trip because of the varied and extensive itinerary it provided. Some cities, but mostly beautiful countryside and sea views, coupled with rich history along the way. Two nights on Orkney and the Edinburgh Military Tattoo were the highlights of the tour for me, and the day on Skye was breathtaking.
Worth mentioning was the fact that CIE doesn’t offer “excursions” and includes them in their upfront price, which is not the case as other companies.
This was our first trip with CIE, and we were very pleased. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and organized, and the driver was top-notch as well, having to negotiate city traffic as well as single lane Highland roads.
We would definitely recommend CIE to our friends (that’s how we discovered them) and would consider another tour with them outside of the UK (at this point we feel that we’ve sufficiently covered the UK and Ireland.)

Lovely group, great weather and interesting stops. I feel like we really got the feel of the Republic of Ireland.
My only disappointment was the Welcome Reception - which was a bit awkward without a host. Everyone arrived, but no one made introductions or welcomed us to the tour.

The incredible time, food, hotels, route and schedule.
The planning, route, hotel choices, and best of all Jackie our guide and Brent our driver in Scotland.
Same comments for Ireland, with Alister and TJ.

Taste of Scotland & Ireland - 10 Days/9 Nights
A bucket list experience.
George is the best coach driver on the planet. A bucket list experience. Great itinerary, great guides, varied and interesting accommodations. The military tatto was thrilling. Enjoyed the Irish dancing and music show. Glad someone else was driving; I wouldn't attempt driving on my own. The Titanic museum exceeded my expectations.

Taste of Ireland (Tour A) - 7 Days/6 Nights
Great way to visit the Emerald Isle.
Overall, the trip was very good, though a little faster paced than was comfortable for people in their late70s and, middle 80s. Our driver and guide, Michael, was outstanding. His knowledge and personality made the trips on the bus between locations, interesting as well as, entertaining. The pace, due to the short length of the tour, was a bit fast, but doable.

Scottish Daytripper - 6 Days/ 5 Nights
The tour director, Austin, and the bus driver, Graham, were very professional and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. The people and the places were great. I especially liked Mount Stuart House and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Everything was great, though. I also enjoyed Culzean Castle, Rothesay, Loch Lomond, Stirling Castle, Edinburgh Castle, and the Clydeside Distillery.

Terrific trip all the way around!
The experience was wonderful- great meals, planning and unique hotels. Very comfortable! The meals, hotels and sightseeing were wonderful. Our tour guide and driver were fantastic!

CIE is wonderful
The hotels were Great. Meals were wonderful. I loved seeing the whole island.. Bathroom breaks were perfect.
The details were taken care of. Murt was SUPERB!
I just love Ireland. I will be back for another tour.

This was my second tour with CIE..I really like the educated tour guides ability to share history and current events as we ride the bus to our destinations. The consistency with bus tour service. I read the itinerary before picking tour and got what I wanted.

I went on this tour with family members and I would highly recommend! It was a low impact trip perfect for all types of travelers. It truly was a “taste” of Ireland that showcased the main tourist attractions yet felt carefully curated.

Jewels of Ireland - 13 Days/12 Nights
Amazing views, locations and experiences!
I had an absolutely wonderful time on my third CIE tour to the most beautiful country in the world. I went on this tour solo and felt safe & comfortable. Brian, our tour guide, provided wonderful anecdotes and information about all of the places we visited. Mike, the driver, was so friendly and made us all feel safe during our travels. All of the necessary information for each day was clearly provided and each day ran smoothly, thanks to our wonderful guide and driver! The organization of the trip was so well done and the accommodations were wonderful. This was my longest visit to Ireland and each day was filled with wonderful activities in each of the beautiful all around the coast. I highly recommend this tour if you are looking for beautiful views & wonderful experiences. Thanks so much to CIE, Brian & Mike for a perfect trip! I’ll definitely be booking another visit (hopefully soon!!)

Jewels of Ireland - 14 Days/13 Nights
We would recommend them in that this is our second trip with CIE. In fact, we had already scheduled our third CIE trip for later this year. Our Trip Guide and Driver were quite knowledgeable about the sites we visited and shared their insight with the group. The dinners were wonderful. The sites were so beautiful that we would have appreciated a bit more time to take it all in. However, we enjoyed everything we saw and got to experience.

Scots Irish Tour - 11 Days/10 Nights
Fantastic!!!
Seeing all the beautiful, interesting sites. Everyone day was an adventure. We had a really nice time. Darryl our bus driver was full of information, very friendly stopped a lot for pictures! Everyone on the tour was friendly and fun to be around.Will definitely take another one in the future.

Best of Britain - 10 Days/9 Nights
I loved every minute of my tour. Had a little issue with the hotel staff in Windsor but didn’t let it affect my vacation. Everything was nearly perfect and well planned. Chris (our guide) and Daniel (our driver)were absolutely phenomenal, the coach was very comfortable. This was a dream vacation with my family and your company made it perfect. .thank you

Excellent tour!
I loved our tour guide, bus driver and our group. All the places we visited were awesome. The accommodations were great. Loved the food. Excellent people. Loved all the experiences our group was awesome! Going to the MIilitary Tattoo was an experience of a lifetime!

Great Ireland adventure.
We had a great tour guide! Tony Keenan. He was very informative and had a great sense of humor! Hotels were all good, food was delicious and all the activities were good!
