Good value for the money.
The hotels, transportation and overall experience was awesome. My only complain was the bus had no WiFi.

Some good, some not so good.
End of february 2024.
This was our third trip to Ireland for my wife and I, and the first one for my father.
Our guide/driver Lawrence was a real Irish no non-sense character that we really liked.
The group wasnt very energetic/interactive but was getting better on the last two days, not CIEs fault though.
What was in CIEs control and wasnt good for us and some of the other members of the group where these points: The Guinness Storehouse tour was quit short, an hour more would of been appreciated, a rushed tour. Having a group dinner at the Storehouse would of been a nice way to start the tour. Same for Blarney Castle, an hour more to appreciate the site and to have a no rush lunch. Not having the Waterford crystal tour was a negative surprise. Finally, the Killkenny stay was ridiculous. Much too short, could of given us 2 hours more and we would of been on time in Dublin anyway. We and some others in the group, couldnt do the Smithwicks brewery tour and the Round Tower climb, very disappointing.
On a positive note, the hotels where without fault and their locations excellent.
The dinner and breakfast service during our stay at Dooley's Hotel in Waterford was exemplary. Both dinner & shows where fun, the Burnratty Castle, which we already did in a previous CIE tour, was still appreciated. As was the Merry Ploughboys.
We love going to Ireland and we are thinking to retire there. The Cliffs where amazing as was all the sites. And going in february gave us an idea of the winter climate. Also there isnt alot of tourists that time of year, so the sites werent jammed packed. Exeption made for the Guinness Storehouse tour.

A leisure tour is a good way to go if you like to venture on your own but also have the amenity of a group.

The amount of time spent at each location was sufficient to see the sites.
