Our Trip to Ireland was the experience of a lifetime. Whether seeing the historical sites of Dublin, wandering through Killarney, kissing the Blarney Stone or walking along the Cliffs off Moher we were in heaven. Our guide Peter was awesome and gave us a true sense of our ancestral home. We hope to return in the Spring of '19. Our thanks to Peter and CIE Tours for a fantastic experience

The trip revolves around the tour guide and driver. The route is clear and precise with the scheduled stops long enough for one to enjoy the location. The hotels, food and ambiance are perfect for travelers. I'd do it again!

#1 complaint: CIE wanted us to put a down payment down before we had a final figure of the tour and extended stay. I was finding air fair for $800.00+ round trip and CIE never let us know what those cost were. They threatened to cancel the trip and I thought fine with me, I needed to know the total cost before I was going to give them a down payment. #2. There could have been better communication explaining the extended stay process. We included an extended stay and booked it thru CIE. CIE never informed us that the expectations from them and the process of booking B&B's. I was concerned about not hearing how that process worked, I finally had to send emails asking when we would be able to book B&B's. I was satisfied with CIE getting back to us when I sent emails questioning the process. The trip was satisfying. The hotels you put us up in were good and food was delicious. I always felt somewhat deprived not being able to stop more for museums or informative places but when I look at the tour we took, we got exactly what we signed up for. If we wanted more there were other opportunities thru CIE to book a bigger tour. We got what we paid for. It takes a fair amount of time to cover the area the tour covered. We saw a fair amount of Southern Ireland. The stops were interesting. I did find out that CIE stops at places that support tour buses and an opportunity for the travelers to spend money. The shops were exceptional.

Limit number of 'attractions' that are nothing more than tourist traps. This takes valuable time away from learning about and appreciating local culture.

The tour team was excellent and entertaining. We have already recommended this tour to multiple friends who are planning a trip for 2019. The service was wonderful at most places on the tour. It was nice not having to worry about driving and being able to truly enjoy the views of the countryside from the coach.

Everything on the tour was great. The communication from the head office in NJ, I cannot say the same. Once our deposits were made, I could not reach the agent but the sales/payment staff responded quickly to email. We were a party of 4 but the tickets were issued for two groups of two; my wife and I and my 83 year old mother in law and her sister. The sister contacted your offices to correct her name on the reservations. The agent/person who made the changes cancelled the air tickets under the incorrect name but did not rebook the flight under the corrected name. Because of this, we could not select seats in advance and they would have had to fly on standby on an overbooked flight.Only through the help of very accommodating airline agents were we able to fix it but they had to fly out to Toronto and then to Dublin separately with a delay of a couple of hours. Unacceptable from your company's part.
