We welcome Spring looking forward to the prospect of once again being able to journey abroad. While travel has been on pause, we have been busy adjusting our operations and expanding our travel options to ensure the health, safety, and peace of mind of our guests.
CIE Tours now has a wide variety of travel options that support smaller groups and more space to spread out. And because we know that the current travel outlook is still developing, new bookings come with the flexibility to change plans.
We are primed and ready for when it is time to fully return to travel and are energized by the news that Iceland welcoming travelers who have been vaccinated. We can’t wait to get back on the road sharing the places we love.
Travel might look a bit different in the future, but our CIE Tours family in the U.S. and abroad is ready to provide each guest with the safe and memorable trip of their dreams.

Due to changes in policies and improvements in health & safety conditions, CIE Tours has resumed travel to select destinations. At this time all departures to Iceland are operational, but we have suspended all departures to Italy and Ireland, including any combination tour that travels to Ireland, through July 2021.
If you were scheduled to travel on any cancelled departure, we will immediately reschedule you for another date or provide you with a Future Travel Credit following the guidelines below*.

If Trip Protection Insurance was purchased through CIE tours, Part B (post departure portion of the policy that covers trip interruption, missed connections, travel delay, medical expenses and more) will be transferrable to the new trip.
We currently have specific travel requirements for June travel to Iceland only. As we get closer to departure dates for other destinations, we will update this page with any applicable travel requirements that may impact our guests.

All new 2021 bookings come with the flexibility to modify your travel plans up to 30 days before departure for true peace of mind. Change to another destination, another itinerary or another departure date anytime through 12/31/2022.
And for 2022 travel dates, all new bookings will also be covered by our travel flexibility policy for as long as COVID-19 is still impacting international travel. See details here.

*The program is valid for all departures cancelled through July 31, 2021. Compensation is provided in the form of a CIE Travel Voucher, redeemable for travel departing by December 31, 2022. CIE Travel Vouchers not redeemable for cash. Offer may be withdrawn at any time and other restrictions may apply. For guests rebooking on the same tour series for a new departure date, any price increase for the future date will be waived with the exception of guests moving from a standard departure to one that includes the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
