Lovely time in a beautiful country, fantastic tour.
Worth the money. It would have cost me triple this to do it myself and I’d have been exhausted from all the driving.

Beautiful Scotland
This is the first group tour I have taken. It was great to have someone else do the driving and plan the stops. I was pleased with the itinerary. The tour guide was able to answer questions beyond the commentary he was providing. He obviously loved his country and his job.
I was surprised by the mountains we saw and the numerous waterfalls. There were sheep everywhere. Everyone was friendly and the pubs and eateries where we stopped for lunch had great food and good service.
Breakfast and dinner were provided most days. The choices were excellent and CIE encourages the meals be sourced locally. That means the food tasted so fresh with great flavor. I had no idea I would be getting such wonderful food options.

Taken this trip three times, nothing else to say. But I would do it again

Fantastic tour!
When we arrived from the airport on Day 1, the Glasgow hotel didn’t have our rooms ready so we had to wait in the lobby. After an overnight flight, we needed to rest and wash up. Some of the hotels and meals were just okay. The quality was lacking in some of the hotel dinner meals. Our bus was comfortable and our driver Rob was excellent. It would be nice to extend the trip a day or two to allow more free time in the small towns.
