Ireland South Daytripper - 8 Days/7 Nights-Amazing trip! The itinerary was exactly what we wanted out of this trip!
Day 1 - Walking tour of Adare was informative, but we were travel weary. We wish we had more time to explore some of the local shops on our own. But they were all closed by the time we came back each day. The dinner at Fitzgerald Woodlands House was the best of the week!
Day 2 - Cliffs of Moher - add some time to this stop - 2.5 hours was not enough! The Burren was interesting. The sheepdog farm was one of my personal favorites!
Day 3 - Railroad to Cobh and walking tour - we had rainy weather, but it was interesting. We traveled all that way - it would have been nice to add an option to actually do the "Titanic Experience" if desired. Blarney castle was beautiful - crowds were low so we felt we had enough time here. Our tour guide was good about getting us to or destinations ahead of the crowds each day (even if it meant early starts!) - he definitely knew how to time things!
Day 4 - Dingle Peninsula - nice area - more touristy than the other towns we visited; the jewelry shop was a nice chance to get something unique; South Pole Inn - this was a very nice experience - very interesting and engaging stories and great coffee! Free night in Adare - again shops/visitor's center were already closed by the time we got back! We went to the pub for a while with some members of our group.
Day 5 - Unfortunately, I had the most problems with the planning of this day. Ring of Kerry - this was breathtaking - but we felt rushed at each scenic viewpoint, and we did not exactly stop at "Ladies View" as was indicated in the itinerary. The Moriarty's stop was NOT NECESSARY! The salespeople were rude and pushy and quite frankly, we could shop in any of the other towns we visited. This took valuable time away from our visit to Killarney. Killarney was nice - the carriage ride was AMAZING! However, once we got to Ross Castle, we were again rushed to get back on the bus to go back to Killarney - and for what? MORE SHOPPING!!?? My family was very disappointed as we wanted to visit Ross Castle and enjoy the beauty of the national park for more time. There should have been an option to do so and then meet up with the group in Killarney later OR get picked back up. Farewell dinner was nice as we had someone (friend of our tour guide) perform Irish music at the hotel.
Dunraven Arms (Hotel #1) - spacious rooms, clean, good service, very nice bar. Breakfasts were wonderful. Dinner portions were much too small, and the evening food was average - a buffet would have been a better option (like breakfast).
Day 6 and 7 in Dublin - amazing! The hop on-hop off bus driver was confused by our vouchers. He had to call his manager, but all was well eventually. We added the extra day in Dublin, and we are so glad we did. The Aloft Hotel (Hotel #2) was beautiful. Our tour guide (before he left us) helped us arrange a trustworthy taxi ride to the harbor to take a boat ride to Ireland's Eye in Dublin Bay where we enjoyed more of Ireland's natural beauty and saw puffins. We got to see the Guiness Storehouse, Temple Bar, Trinity College, St. Patrick's Cathedral, and Dublin Castle. Beautiful city, and our hotel was in a prime location!
Overall, our tour guide Philip Duffy helped make our trip a memorable and beautiful experience. He treated us so well and took care of us like family. He is also a fantastic and safe driver! We would definitely recommend this tour and this company! I would give the vacation 4.5 stars! (If it was not for our issues on Day 5, I would have given 5 stars.)

Ireland South Daytripper was a wonderfully organized trip. T.J., our Tour Guide/ Driver was witty, knowledgeable and courteous. I can't believe how smoothly everything went from our Aer Lingus flight to transportation around Ireland to taking in all the beautiful sights.
