Classic Sicily - 8 Days/7 Nights
Overall -good tour
The overall tour was very good. However, there were a few details that left a lot to be desired. First, there were 3 nights that the tour includes dinner. Usually when we got to a new city. All 3 of these dinner were at best, fair. I thought at least, these dinners would provide the tour guide giving us information about the city we would be visiting.
Secondly, our tour guide was more of a bus monitor. She was very pleasant but didn't provide much information while we were traveling on the bus or at any of the group meals. She was however very helpful and accommodating if we had issues at the hotels.
The individual tour guides hired at each location to do walking tours were phenomenal.

Well organized tour with good accommodations, tours along the way and a great director/ driver.
Would definitely use CIE again and recomend them as well.

Taste of Italy with Sorrento - 10 Days/9 Nights
Wonderful trip!
My friend and I had a vacation of a lifetime, a dream come true. CIE handled every detail of our trip to make it a stress-free, seamless vacation. From the wonderful tour guide (Romina), to our tour bus driver and all guides in between, it was very informative and entertaining. We not only saw the sights, but learned about Italian phrases, food and culture. We had a great group, and appreciate CIE making this a vacation of a lifetime.

Or tour guide was amazing! We loved the trip. It was very 1st class and relaxing. Our tour was a small grip which we loved! We would go again and again. Definitely loved the scenery and environment. Everyone was so nice!

Most of the Ireland tour was very good!
I think you should take your Ireland tour to Dingle instead of Waterford Crystal , The Silverware place and the whisky distillery ! Seems like our monies could be better spent than those places !

Taste of Ireland (Tour C) - 5 Days/4 Nights
The trip of a lifetime (with thanks to Tony)
Our group of 5 with ages ranging from 11-82 had a spectacular trip. As the Irish would say, "It was brilliant". The itinerary was ambitious and whirlwind, but we lucked out with great weather. Each day treated us to stunning scenery, interesting historical sites and immersive cultural fun. Ireland is delightful.
But what made this trip so much more memorable was the incredible tour guide/driver, Tony. Blessed by the gift of the gab, no doubt from his many trips to Blarney Castle, Tony was able to both drive and regale us with stories on our long jaunts between sites and cities. His stories were full of humour, culture, history, politics and sports. Personal anecdotes and passions were woven into memorable events that brought the country to life.
We even got to meet his daughter who came home from abroad unexpectedly and met us at one of our stops. What a proud Dad he was to introduce us. The tour itself was fantastic, but having Tony as out passionate guide gave us a masterclass in all things Irish, and made us feel like we were part of his family. Thanks, Tony!
CIE organized everything for us, allowing us to relax and go with the flow. We will cherish the memories of this once-in-a lifetime trip.

English Odyssey - 14 Days/13 Nights
A wonderful holiday and our first time to England.
My husband and I enjoyed our vacation to England very much. It was a great sampler of what the country has to offer. We particularly enjoyed the HMS Victory Ship Museum at Portsmouth, Windsor (changing of the Guard), Leeds Castle (favorite), Blenheim Palace, Castle Howard, City of York (loved Shambles), Lincoln (Lincoln Imp & Cycling Race), Windermere (beautiful), Whitby (windy but beautiful), Bath(Jane Austen Museum), Stonehenge, London (Tower of London & River Cruise), Oxford, Stratford Upon Avon and Cambridge (Punting was fun).
Our favorite Hotels were: 1)Buxted Park (Tour was awesome as well as the room and grounds) The service and meals were topnotch.)2) Chilston Park ( Room and building & grounds were lovely. Food was good but wait staff service, were not good) 3)RIU Hotel in London-very modern and breakfast for self service was good. We had to take up our own luggage to our room but they were picked up to go on the bus. 4)Briery Wood Country House (lovely grounds with some Harry Coos. Rooms and service were very good.) All the rest were good.
Our tour guide John Cunningham was great. He was friendly, knowledgeable with a good sense of humor and liked to count heads. Our bus driver Ian was quiet but drove safely and was willing to get his photo taken a lot.
We took a group photo at Lincoln and I took some of each couple at Buxted Park Hotel to have as a keepsake of the people. This was a great group. Everyone seemed to get along and people were enjoying the comradery as a whole.

Tuscan Treasures with Cinque Terre - 8 Days/7 Nights
A Treasured First Trip to Italy!
My husband and I loved seeing all of the beautiful Tuscany areas as well as Cinque-Terre! Our CIE tour guide, driver and local tour guides were knowledgeable and personable. This was our third CIE Tours trip and they were all so easy and offered excellent sites and dining opportunities. It was nice to stay in one hotel for the full visit. The day trips were great and we had plenty of free time to enjoy the local towns during our first trip to Italy.

Irish Odyssey - 12 Days/11 Nights
Ireland Odyssey bus tour surpassed my expectations.
We had the pleasure of going on the CIE Ireland Odyssey bus tour. The tour far surpassed my expectations. Our driver Mark was excellent. He was funny, personable and a wealth of knowledge of Ireland. All the accommodation and food was excellent. Staff at the hotels were friendly and helpful. Our transportation was clean and comfortable. All the tour guides that joined us in Cork, Galway, Derry and Belfast were very knowledgeable and engaging. overhaul excellent

Scottish & Irish Sampler - 7 Days/6 Nights
Fun times
Wonderful tour guides. Louise and David. The history and David’s beautiful singing voice. . One of our favorite things was Crossroads thatched roof bar. The music was incredible. We became friendly with our other tour members and had a lovely impromptu cocktail hour our last night together.

Irish Legends - 10 Days/9 Nights
Our trip to Ireland was magical! John, our tour guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. He was also very funny, telling jokes all the time, having all 16 of us laughing. Our accommodations were beautiful! The tour itself was so vast and inclusive.

Wonderful Trip
The whole trip was wonderful. Paola the tour director was great. The only problem we had was all the walking and climbing steps in Venice. It was challenging for us older folks. But Paola helped us all with everything.

Our CIE tour of the UK and Ireland was better than we could have ever imagined. We wouldn't change a thing about it. The pace was perfect, the tour guides provided the right amount of information and down time. The hotel accomodations were top notch. We can't wait for our next CIE tour!!!
