Classic Sicily - 8 Days/7 Nights
Very nice tour
Booking the tour was seamless. Everybody was very helpful. The hotels in Sicily were very nice. Palermo was a bit sketchy but all other areas were beautiful. Tour guide was knowledgeable. The food which was included in the tour was decent.

Taste of Italy with Sorrento - 10 Days/9 Nights
Awesome trip
Great full agenda and great guide. Sorento and Amalfi coast were incredibly beautiful.
My only comment is that it was a lot of walking for some in our group. My wife and i did fine but i believe you tour descriptions should point out the amount of walking involved
That being said i have and will recommend this tour to others.

A wonderful week in Ireland
Our tour guide, Brian, was fantastic. His stories, songs, history lessons, and bad jokes made a wonderful trip even better. Logisitics were seamless, accommodations and meals were great.

I loved getting to see different parts of the country in one trip and this way I can filter future trips down to what I want to spend more time in. This trip was on my bucket list and it was fantastic!!!! Our coach driver/tour guide Brian was outstanding. His passion for his home and sharing it with us was evident and he was extremely entertaining and made everyone feel welcome.
The hotels that we stayed in were outstanding! Very comfy and large. The dinners were very tasty. I think the hotels should maybe offer fish and chips on the tour menu. I know that Irish Stew with Guiness was on all of their menus but that can start to be a bit redundant when you're on a trip this long.
The walking tour guides did a wonderful job and they were VERY informative.
The only negative, which I feel that I need to state, although through no fault on CIE, was at our hotel in Waterford. The fire alarm went off at 1am and there was a red light on the ceiling over our bed that was flashing. We jumped out of bed as did one of the other people on the tour trying to find out what was going on. I called the registration desk twice and my husband and the other tour member attempted to get help. The hotel staff were not on top of this at all. No apology from the staff which was disappointing. Again, this was not a CIE issue but a hotel issue. The hotel was very nice, and the food was great but, that was quite scary.
I would take this trip again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic experience
Loved being on a large coach with only 18 people. And the knowledge and humor of Barry our guide. I loved the itinerary. Loved the Highlands, sheep herding and meeting highland cows. The whole trip was wonderful!!!

Wonderful trip to Scotland
We enjoyed our second Scotland trip very much. The scenery was beautiful & we had great food & nice hotels.Would have liked more time to shop & see the towns.Our tour guide was too focused on everybody getting to the bus, very rushed.He didn't point out many sites while we were on the bus.We do prefer a smaller group.We had 3 groups altogether in Scotland. We will pick small group tours next.We had 11 people last year on our Scotland and Ireland trip which suited us better.We may even do a daytripper tour.

Irish Gold - 8 Days/7 Nights
Best bus tour we've taken.
Our guide, John, was personable and well informed. Ireland is a place where people have long memories and the background information is important to understanding the points of interest. Luggage always 'made it' and seating on the bus was rotated so that all had a turn near the front. After the tour, we took one of Ireland's excellent intercity buses and crossed into Northern Ireland to visit a friend. No hassle, just a switch from euros to sterling. Back to Dublin, where you can clear US customs while still in Ireland. When do we go back....? :)

The Irish Pub Tour - 9 Days/8 Nights
Amazing pub tour of Ireland
Our guide throughout the trip was excellent! Pointed out local land marks and gave us a history of Ireland! Highly recommended this tour for anyone looking to visit the local pubs and get a taste of Ireland. The pubs we visited were top notch. Wouldn’t change a thing! Looking forward to booking another trip with CIE tours in the near future!

Scots Irish Tour - 11 Days/10 Nights
Had an amazing trip!
The hotel selections were amazing. The drivers and tour guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The drivers were very safe. Meals are absolutely wonderful! The only thing I would have preferred is not eating so late. Had an amazing trip! Thank you

Best of Ireland South (Tour C) - 7 Days/6 Nights
Very fun and relaxing trip with CIE Tours
Everything was preplanned by CIE , it was stress free and a lot of fun ,everything from meals to hotels and activities was planned by them and all we had to was enjoy! Our bus driver and guide P.J. was excellent , very informative of area culture and places of interest , could not have been more relaxed and fun trip ! Planning the next one with CIE !!!

I loved the whole visit to Ireland. Tour guide John was great! Very knowledgeable, professional and witty. The itinerary (Taste of Ireland) covered everything I wanted to see. Nothing disappointing. Would definitely recommend C.I.E tours.

The Irish Pub Tour - 9 Days/8 Nights
Amazing Pub Tour. Highly recommend
We had the best time on our CIE pub tour. I wasn't convinced we'd find a tour that included so many of the places we wanted to see, including Sean's Bar in Athlone... so imagine my surprise when this tour included it! Frankie was our driver/guide and he was super fun, drove that bus with ease and gave so much information and had fun personal stories.

A Supreme vacation
We chose this more upscale experience not really knowing what to expect. This trip exceeded others in so many ways. Our guide was very engaging, the hotels, meals and sights were topnotch. Loved the accomodations, meals, included tours and friendly welcome.

Classic Journey - Italian Lakes to Rome - 10 Days/9 Nights
A Spectaculor Tour of Italy
First, any questions I had prior to the trip were answered by a LIVE operator who always answered the phone and gave great advice. They were curteous and very helpful. Secondly, all the tour guides in Italy, including our main guide, Andrea, were exceptional! Andrea knew her history, architecture, and additional perks of information that made our trip extra special. She was extremely helpful and took care of all of us as if we were her "kids". And the local guides were also very informative and friendly. The hotels were fantastic in regard to comfort and location; and the breakfasts that were included were phenomenal. The cities and towns we toured were also well worth visiting. There was never a dull moment. I can't pick a single town out and call it my favorite because ALL the places we visited were the best of the best. I only wished I had more time to tack on the additional tour to Sorrento, Isle of Capri, etc. My tour friends sent me photos and that looked amazing. Being age 69 and my husband 78 years old, this tour does require being in decent shape to be able to walk all the tours that were scheduled. We made it through all of them and appreciated starting out early because as the day went on, the more crowded our destinations would be.

Lovely country and people
I greatly enjoyed the beautiful country and the choice of experiences. Our guide was very knowledgeable and accommodating. I particularly liked the excursions over water, especially Loch Lomond, and the time at Sterling castle. I would have liked a bit more free time to explore Glasgow —it’s such an interesting city!
