Five stars in every department. There is no way we could have planned something like this ourselves. In are heads we were trying to figure out what it really would have cost us to figure it out, book, reserve, drive while CIE took care of all of our needs for us. We honestly wondered how did they do it. Their years of experiance paid off not just for them but for the trip of our lives. We cant wait to book another, we are even thinking of doing our own special tour with just friends. I am sure we could fill a bus as much as we have shared with the 6 of us that went! Best and easiest way to travel.

Dermot, our tour guide, was AMAZINNNGG!!!! His knowledge, personality, sense of humor, accommodating attitude made Ireland even more of a emerald gem. The accommodations at the Ashford Castle were gorgeous, the itinerary was full and enjoyable and I highly recommend this company and working with Dermot if you are able. Thank you for a memorable and meaningful experience

The company was wonderful as I could not afford to pay the rest of the trip they offered an extension of time. I was sorry to not do it but being robbed at the start of my trip even limited the finances more so I made the right choice when cancelling. Did run into CIE travelers at Dublin airport and they had nothing but praise for the company

First time to Ireland was FABULOUS! Our guide, Gerry was amazing! He shared so much about the culture and people with us. Without this tour we would not have learned so much and felt so comfortable in a new land. Gerry also has a great sense of humor, which put everyone at ease. Small group is definitely the way to go. There was plenty of space on the bus and the tours did not feel rushed. Will definitely be back!

I gave them 4 stars because of the issues with airline reservations. I even called them to ask about it, but they didn't think it was an issue with the answer "not to worry, we'll put you on the next flight out" Problem was the next flight was 24 hours later causing me to miss the first 2 days of my tour plus the expense and inconvenience of taking a bus to catch up with the tour. The booking of the tour itself was excellent and the rest of the tour was very good. I believe the girls trying to help were very sincere and caring. I have taken 7 tours with CIE, and I definitely will be taking more tours with them.

I would recommend CIE to anyone who wants to go to Ireland. It was a fabulous trip from bus to hotels to admin office to restaurants to excursions--the whole trip! Noel was a great driver and guide. He's personable, funny, informative, smart, helpful, and, maybe most importantly, a superb driver. He can handle that huge bus in any kind of traffic, on any kind of road, in any kind of situation. It was all too short. The time shot by and was over before we knew it. The food was wonderful at all the venues. The entertainment was good. The hotels were very good, especially The Lodge at Ashford Castle. Maybe just a little more independent time would have been nice, but we saw all we came to see. It left us wanting more. We hope to book another tour in the future.

The tour was wonderful. The itinerary was a great value for the price paid. The tour director did a great job of narrating our trip. He was both funny, entertaining and informative. The hotels that we stayed in were all very nice. The meals were very good. The only negatives are that a few of the stops on the itinerary could be better, and one night were we were dining on our own was in a hotel that did not have many dining options within easy walking distance.
