Highly recommend this tour. It provides a deep overview of the history of Ireland from the first residents of the island through the present day. The visits to select sites reinforces the most important aspects of Ireland's history.

Irish Supreme - 9 Days/8 Nights
The experience was fabulous.. First rate hotels, amazing activities!
Everything was excellent. Mark was a wonderful tour director. The hotels were the very best. Our activities were great and we made some lovely friends along the way. The only recommendation I have would be to give us at least 2 hotel nights with fewer (or no) one night stays to enjoy our hotels a little more. We covered a lot of ground but I wouldn’t mind a slower pace for me to explore each location a little more. Still … I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I would recommend this tour to everyone. In fact, CIE should have a Supreme version for all of their locations. This was our second CIE tour and by far the best. Well worth the money.

Taste of Britain & Ireland - 14 Days/13 Nights
The tour itself was excellent however there was 1 hotel that was too small, not so clean. It was also too far away from Edinburgh. The narratives from the tour directors were very informative. The daily scheduling of the tour events and travel were excellent. The coach driver had remarkable driving skills.

Ireland Walking & Hiking: The Northern Coast - 9 Days/8 Nights
See the authentic Ireland
Loved the itinerary. I felt the variety of hikes was great. No 2 alike. The tour directors were phenomenal. They knew and could explain all the local color, customs, history involving the areas we visited. Some of the accommodations left room for improvement. Otherwise loved everything.

Highly recommend Scotland and Ireland
I loved everything. It was exhausting, but wonderful. We got to see much more than we would have if it was done on our own. We also would have missed out on the history of both countries. Karl was an absolutely wonderful driver/ guide. He was very helpful and knowledgeable. Betty was also great for the Scotland portion. Loved all the sites and history they both shared. The sites were amazing!

Best of Ireland South (Tour A) - 8 Days/7 Nights
Trip of a lifetime!!
The Teeling Distillery was a great start. We had a smaller group and this was a perfect opportunity to get to know one another during the tasting. We had a group of only 12 and it felt like such a personal experience.
Everything we saw was beautiful. The castles were amazing, the Jaunting horse ride was beautiful. We had a ball at the Taylor’s Three Rock. Loved the sheep dog demo. Quill’s farmhouse was one of our favorite experiences. Of course the Cliffs were amazing, the shopping was great. Galway was lovely and I loved the beautiful countryside on our ride to and through the Dingle Peninsula. We also found the Irish Stud Farm facinating and the gardens were beautiful.
It was an absolutely amazing experience. It surpassed our expectations. Every detail was thought out. Every meal-delicious! Our bus was very clean and comfortable. We couldn’t have had a better tour guide or group! Patrick was funny, full of historical information. He explained things very well. He made sure we together and on time. He made it seem easy navigating those crazy roads. I’m looking forward to planning another trip.

Irish Odyssey - 12 Days/11 Nights
A 37 year repeat of our first Ireland trip
We loved revisiting old favorites. This tour did revisit many of the sites we saw in 1989. We met lovely people in our group who admired our efforts and wished to help support our efforts to review what impressed us about our six previous tours in Ireland over our 37 years of seeing the Emerald Isle. We learned we have lost strength and stamina as we got older. I learned that although my mind thinks I have the ability of a 49 year old, my body reminded me I am actually 86!

Taste of Italy with Sorrento - 10 Days/9 Nights
Best vacations you will ever take!
Paola our tour guide was phenomenal! She truly loves her job and you can tell by the passion she displays while she is working. This tour gives you exactly what it says. You see the best spots in Italy and the food you will taste alone the way is incredible! It was absolutely worth booking and I am so glad we took the trip! It's not a vacation where you get a lot of rest but it's one of the best vacations you will ever take!

Tuscan Treasures with Cinque Terre - 8 Days/7 Nights
Very well organized with a wonderful tour guide. We saw the highlights of Tuscany which is what I expected. It was high season so the sites were packed with tourists. One must be prepared for that. This trip met my expectations for the "Cliff Notes" of Tuscany.
The hotel in Montecatini was wonderful.

Extremely pleased with the value for the money. I felt like we were treated very well and welcomed at all the of hotels and attractions arranged by CIE. Our driver, Brian, was so informative and insightful not only about Ireland's rich history but also about current situations and local culture.

Trip was a delight. Glaciers.waterfalls.tomato farms! Nice hotels
Great trip. Dorothy the tour guide, was informed and friendly. Lunches and dinners were great. I especially enjoyed the tomato farm and secret lagoon. I would recommend Taste of Iceland to anyone. Varied activities and good food. The tour guide was wonderful. The hotels were comfortable

Trip organized very well, saw and learned a lot, beautiful countries.
Trip was very well organized. We saw and learned a lot. Both countries are beautiful. Our bus driver was great and our tour guide in Scotland JY was also very good. Hotels were nice. It was great to have everything arranged for you. Driving through both Scotland and Ireland were beautiful, food was good, entertainment was good. I feel we accomplished a lot during the 10 days.

Highlights of Britain - 13 Days/12 Nights
Trip was well planned and the tour guide was with us all the way.
Loved learning more about history, culture, authors and land marks. Enjoyed the peaceful scenery along the way. Hotels were comfortable and well located. Meals were good. Driver made us feel safe. Itinerary included historic and beautiful places that celebrated authors and cultural events.
