Scottish Irish gold tour review
I have contacted CIE tours customer service several times to address their bait and switch tactics. We booked a small group trip and paid an additional $700 per person for that. We ended up on a bus with 43 people. Not the small group up to 26 people contracted. Also we were stuck on the bus and ferry for 12 hours transitioning from Edinburgh to Dublin.

Incredible Experience!
Incredible trip! Our guide, Joe, went above and beyond to make our trip an amazing experience. Everything was meticulously planned, we did so many things in our two weeks in Ireland! Would definitely go again with CIE. I did the Irish Classic - highly recommend.

Taste of Scotland - 5 Days/4 Nights
Tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of Scotland. Enjoyed that very much. The coach was comfortable and we had a great driver. Was disappointed with the substitution in place of Loch Ness ( which was canceled due to unforseen circumstances). I understand a quick decision had to be made, but the destination was underwhelming. I enjoyed our accommodations. However, would rather have stayed in Edinburgh proper as opposed to being out in the country. Nothing to do out there, so felt like we lost an evening of activity. I would also have liked a shorter time frame for the Castle and a little more free time in Edinburgh. Everything went smoothly and I would recommend CIE to friends.

Don't tour Ireland on your own, book a CIE Bus Tour.
First bus tour, not the last. From our arrival to our departure everything was taken care of. The Tour Bus was new, and comfortable. Our Tour Guide and Driver were fantastic, sharing their local knowledge to make our trip even better.

Taste of Scotland & Ireland - 11 Days/10 Nights
Drive/ guide was excellent. Disappointed with the last hotel we stayed at.
Our driver who also served as a guide was excellent. He was well organized and made sure that we were up on local customs and what might be some concerns for potential issues in specific locations on the trip. Accommodations were great with the exception of the last hotel in Dublin.

Excellent guide, nice accommodations. Could have used more active tour, didn’t clearly understand mostly bus tour with little interaction in stops except to buy items

Overall a very good experience,
Bus driver was exceptionally well versed in local history as well as local establishments, he was very friendly and helpful, the bus itself could use a pillow to pot behind your back need more time at St. Andrews and perhaps option as to whiskey tasting experience. Ladies may like to shop rather than taste whiskey! The woolen mill stop was unnecessary as we had just been to one as was the Irish coffee stop, the hotels were excellent. It was an unforgettable trip,,,

Everything from beginning to end was perfect. This was our 2nd CIE tour. 1st time was so good we decided to use them again. Your guide was phenomenal, as was our bus driver. Highly recommend CIE tours!

Clans & Castles - A Perfect Package for Touring Scotland!
CIE's service was top notch. Everything was well-organized, the transportation was flawless, and the travel around the country was simple. The sites on the tour were fantastic and each day was structured to be full but not exhausting. Rest stops during the drive were just right, and we never felt rushed at any location. Our tour guide, Angela, was very experienced and knowledgeable, and she did a fantastic job of keeping everyone organized. When we go back for another tour, it will be with CIE!

Tour Guide was great
Although we never received our pre-trip package (luggage tags, luggage straps, backpack etc.) our tour guide was great and at least able to give us luggage tags to make sure our bags got transferred properly. He was also an excellent and knowledgeable tour guide.
