We loved every minute of the Taste of Ireland tour!

The tour was very well thought out. We really enjoyed all the experiences of the tour. Our guide was wonderful. Our group was a great bunch of people. It felt great to be taken care of at every step of the way.

So pleased with our C.I.E. Tour of Ireland! Great experience!

We loved our tour with C.I.E. Our driver and tour guide was exceptional and so much fun! We learned so much about the country and its people. Knowing hotels, 2 meals each day, entrance fees to the sights, and guided walking tours were all taken care of and included in the cost. The only thing I would caution you about is if you think you can check Ireland off your bucket list, think again - you’ll want to go back!

Don't pass CIE tours by! It's an amazing experience!

I was so impressed with the knowledge and kindness of my driver and tour guide! I would definitely recommend CIE to anyone who wanted to go on a fabulous tour of Ireland and Scotland! Beautiful country and history!

A Wonderful 11-day Fieldtrip!

Our driver was surperb! The tour guides for each city were knowledgeable and very engaging. I loved all of the scenery we experienced and history we learned about. When asked, I tell people that it seemed like I was on an 11-day fieldtrip.

Our accomodations were very comfortable and top-notch as was the food. It was also great not to have to cart my luggage to and from the bus to my hotel room. As a single traveler, I always felt safe and involved with my tourmates.

My CIE Tour, Taste of Scotland and Ireland, was a wonderful, once-in-a-lifetime (for me) experience! Whenever I look at my pictures, I love the experience even more. I have recommended it and will continue to do so.

Our tour guide, Patrick Joseph O'Brien (PJ), was excellent! We enjoyed most of the stops on the tour, and met some great people!

Gareth was a helpful tour guide. Went to a few extra points of interest.

Great trip to Scotland

Our tour driver in Scotland was great! He was very personable. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable of the area in which we were traveling, as he was from the area. During our tour, my husband had a medical emergency and Ruaridh, our tour guide accompanied us to the A&E. He waited with us, for four hours, until my husband was evaluated, tested, and given a diagnosis. Unfortunately this was five days into our tour and we were not allowed to continue the tour due to my husband’s diagnosis.

We did enjoy the full five days we were able to participate in the tour. We missed two last days of the tour and completely missed the Ireland leg of the tour. We hope to try again in the next year or so.

I can’t express how lovely the tour was, our tour guide Pat Smith was intelligent, engaging and absolutely hysterical. He kept us informed and entertained all day every day. He went over and above to ensure we were, well fed and had many recommendations for dining and shopping. My only dissatisfaction was the academy plaza hotel ! It was a bit dated, very small none of the upscale amenities the other hotels had.

The Ireland trip was truly magical. Our driver/guide was first rate and a font of knowledge. The hotels were wonderful. And the itinerary gave everyone the best experience of what is Ireland history.

It was a great experience, tour personnel was on time and knowledgeable. Iceland is a beautiful place to visit and you really have to be there to enjoy it.

Extremely well organized! The entire Itinerary was fabulous. All the cities, sites, excursions, food, guides, hotels, tour director was above my expectations and I had an amazing time with so many wonderful memories.

Colm and Becky were fantastic!

Our tour director Colm was FABULOUS!! He really took good care of us!! Good balance of nature, industry and history. Loved the local tour guides also. Very organized and well balanced.

Quality Time

The sights were incredible, but thought more time at the sights would have been better than in shops. I would have liked more time at Slieve League.

Taste of Scotland & Ireland - 11 Days/10 Nights

Paul McClinchie was a wonderful tour guide. This trip might have become unbearable if not for his knowledge, driving skill, story telling and honest appraisal of everything. He is a gem.

CIE Tours is great!

CIE Tours Taste of Ireland was terrific. They made travelling easy and covered all the details, allowing me to enjoy all the experiences. They know how to do Ireland right. Our driver and guide, Brian, was wonderful. His knowledge and expertise were only second to his warm welcome. CIE Tours offers a great way to travel; they handled the details while I enjoyed the trip. A great experience I'll never forget.

Trip of a lifetime

Our guide Dennis was personable, funny, and very knowledgeable. He and the city guides made a rainy and cold week a pleasure. Everyone we came in contact with was wonderful. The hotels and restaurants were all five star!!!!

Good overall tour of Ireland

Lots of activities, good choices of restaurants

Generally comfortable accommodations. Would recommend.

Guide was excellent. He went above and beyond. A few of the hotels were unremarkable. Choice of tour spots were very good.
