Scottish Dream - 8 Days/7 Nights-Excellent tour overall. Learned a great deal about Scottish history.
Had to wait over two hours for our transfer bus from Edinburgh to Glasgow, not ideal after overnight, transatlantic travel. Remainder of tour was well-organized and went without a hitch. All tour personnel were a delight.

Jewels of Ireland - 14 Days/13 Nights-Classic, comfortable circumnavigation.
The itinerary was complete and fascinating. Both the tour guide (Brendan) and the driver (David) were professional and clearly concerned with out experience, education and safety. By and large the hotels were very good to excellent. All aspects were well thought out and well executed.

Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way - 10 Days/9 Nights
The whole experience was very nice. The first hiotel Clantarf Castle was amazing. Staff, rooms, food and ambiance was a perfect start. Our bus driver Patrick was the best driver I have ever seen and filled us full of stories as we drove from place to place. Some visit sites were OK and others amazing. I realize they like to show as much as possible, but staying in Galway an extra day would have been nice. Having just a bit more time to visit areas would be nice as well. Overall the experience was grand and would use CIE again and recommend them as well

We loved our tour! It was everything we had hoped it would be and more. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and personable. Willie made sure that we saw everything scheduled on our tour and more. We would highly recommend CIE tours to family and friends.

Ireland South Daytripper - 7 Days/6 Nights
The Daytripper tour was wonderful and allowed us to visit many beautiful places while having a home base for 5 nights. The pace was perfect, as were the hotels and sites we visited. The best part of the tour was our Driver Guide Philip Duffy whose expertise in the sharing of history, stories and jokes was beyond compare!

Our tour was wonderful. Our driver/guide (Patrick Smith) was awesome. He was knowledgeable, funny and made each day a memorable experience. Ireland is truly a beautiful island.

I definitely would recommend CEI to anyone that would like help with travel plans. Tracy with Doves Travel planned our trip via CIE, and it was spot on! Everything was as stated in the travel itinerary, which was exactly what we needed, and with NO surprises.

Our Scotland tour guide, Jackie, and driver, Adrian were fabulous. They were full of knowledge/insight, humor, patience, and expertise. Our Ireland guide, Tommy, and driver, Don, were also great.

Enjoyed our entire Tour. Great hotels, comfortable bus, great excursions. Did not want the tour to end!

Best of Britain - 10 Days/9 Nights-Far exceeded our expectations!
We had an absolutely wonderful experience! Everyday we saw and experienced such beauty and learned so much about the history of Britain. Our tour guide, Phil, was just terrific: kind, organized, funny, knowledgeable, and our driver, Andy, was great too!

Taste of Italy with Sorrento - 10 Days/9 Nights
We saw everything! The Tour Director was fun and efficient.
The Tour Director had a wonderful sense of humor and made the tour go extremely smoothly. We saw everything! My sister and I chose the CIE tour because of the extensive itinerary. The hotels were average and I wish there was an upgrade option to stay at a 5 star hotel because I would have been willing to pay for that. I wish that the Sorrento farewell dinner was held at a restaurant with a view of the coastline. The walk from the gondola ride back to the hotel was ridiculously long and I wish that the Tour Director had not discouraged us from a water taxi option. Overall, we had a great time.

Was a great tour. We saw a lot of the things that we wanted to see. Bus driver and tour guide was amazing. People on the bus got covid including us.
Loved the castles. Food was good.

Taste of Scotland & Ireland - 10 Days/9 Nights
Great itinerary and cover a lot of ground in a short time period.. Excellent hotel accommodations and well thought out itinerary. See all the highlights and get a great Taste of Scotland and Ireland. Did not like the fact there never was a CIE representative on the trip as it was all subletted out to drivers and guides. The initial welcome dinner was okay, no excitement or build up.

Mystical Ireland - 8 Days/7 Nights
The Tour Guide/Bus Driver (John Keane) was beyond excellent. We especially appreciated all of his stories related to growing up in (some of) the areas we were touring. The breadth of his grasp of Irish history and music was also impressive. All of the guides for our 3 walking tours were also extremely good. The hotels were all great, including most of the breakfasts.

We saw so much of Ireland. We learned alot about Ireland and it's history. The best part of our CIE Tour was our Guide and our Bus Driver. They made every day a pleasure. They were knowledgeable and always made sure we knew where to find exxactly what we wanted to see.

Taste of Scotland & Ireland - 11 Days/10 Nights
Exceptional guide…Billy was knowledgeable and made the trip enjoyable. He is also an amazing driver and I felt completely safe. We saw many wonderful things….it was an amazing trip. It truly was a taste of Scotland and Ireland. In order to see all that we saw, required too much time on the coach. For me personally, I should have chosen a trip that focused on fewer places. Overall, great trip.
