Highlights of Britain - 15 day/14 night

Our tour director and bus driver were fantastic. My major disappointment was the location of the hotels, particularly the hotels in Tavistock, Chester, York and Edinburgh. These hotels were allocated outside of the cities which limited access to points of interest during free time at the hotel.

Scottish Isles & Glens - 12 Days/11 Nights

It was very well organized and the guide and coach driver were excellent.
I've never been on an organized bus tour and I enjoyed it very much.

The itinerary was fabulous and the guide was very knowledgeable and patient! John was great. The driver, Paul was exceptional. John is young but he will be a terrific guide before long.

Best of Ireland South (Tour A) - 8 Days/7 Nights

The booking service was good, but we weren't picked up in the airport as our flight was cancelled because of the weather and we had to pay for a taxi to the hotel. This was already paid for in the transfer fee, and I will speak to a representative about refunding me the 40 euros that I spent on the taxi.

I would for sure recommend CIE tours to others in future! I did not have to worry about a single thing my entire trip and was able to just enjoy the sites! It also didn't hurt that my guide Diana and driver Sam were excellent!

The tour itself was wonderful.Our tour guide Linda McKay was fabulous,as well as our driver John.
My only issue is that after many calls to the CIE office in NJ,is that they still have the wrong name attached to my email.

This was my second tour with CIE and I was very pleased again. My only suggestion is when 2 are rooming together but live in different states, to send each one their packet instead of sending both to one person.

Absolutely delightful

Booking was great. Easy online application & instructions. My only negative reaction was to the way you have a “lead” traveler. I do not like having to relay on a travel companion to obtain info. I do not understand why you can’t send email info to each traveler.
