Irish Legends - 10 Days/9 Nights
If I re-visit Ireland, I'd definitely consider one of CIE's other tours.

After the initial booking (using Norwegian Air), the airline cancelled. CIE, without consulting me, re-booked our party on a different airline on a different date and at a different time - neither of which fit our overall plans. It was eventually straightened out, but CIE should have consulted me first and not taken the liberty to do so on its own.
Subsequently i had to cancel one of our party and CIE was very accommodating on this matter.
Regarding the tour itself, we had no complaints. I'd rate the Dunboyne Castle Hotel as excellent, followed closely by the Salt Hill and Killarney Towers. The Newpark and North Star were average.
If I were to go again, I'd skip any tour that included the Cobh Heritage Centre, Blarney Castle and Aran Islands. The remainder of the locations varied from very good to excellent (We all wished that the day on the Dingle Peninsula had been better.). Foley's Bar was very informative. It was unfortunate that the day in Dublin fell on a weekend - almost impossible to get into the Kilmainen Jail. The entertainment provided was very good and we all enjoyed the repertoire with Brendan, our tour guide.

Scottish & Irish Dream- 14 Days/13 Nights

Attention to group and individual needs was outstanding. Hotels varied in quality. I wasn’t particularly found of the driver/guide combination in Ireland although I understand the country finds that acceptable. Our driver/guide did a very good job but it was demanding of his attention to details of both.

Patrick Smith was our driver/tour guide and he made the trip OUTSTANDING. We saw so many things in such a short time (would love to stay longer next time) but his knowledge of his country made everything...driving, eating, excursions...memorable.

Please improve the meals

Everything was great except the meals. CIE needs to do better as far as getting the hotels to provide better quality meals. There is so much repetition also among the hotels-they all tend to offer the same meals. Personally I would rather pay more and get better quality meals.

I had some difficulty with the booking service as your agent typed my name twice rather than my husband's name. Then they listed him as being a female. Took effort to get those two things corrected. My final documents were only received 10 days before our trip.

Excellent itinerary and quality hotels plus a very experienced and informative tour guide and driver - both with fantastic senses of humour.

I would recommend CIE Tours! The booking process was simple and painless, I knew ahead of time which tour I wanted to do and the time I wanted to go. Every time I called in they always had patience and answered every question I threw at them.
