Our family had a wonderful time in Scotland with CIE Tours. Everything was excellent....the itinerary, hotels and meals. The tour guide and bus driver were both friendly, professional and helped to make our trip amazing.

Everything about our trip to Ireland with CIE Tours was easy - from booking to heading home - everything was thought of and taken care of for us so we could just enjoy our time together in a beautiful new place. Every person we encountered with CIE was friendly and helpful, our flights and hotel rooms were set-up just as we asked and the tour itself allowed us to see so much of the country that if we had planned the trip on our own we never would have gotten to see. You can't go wrong with this tour company!

Very simple- great service and personalized attention. Comfortable and clean coach, fantastic guides, tour is a good mix of structured tour and free time. Accommodations were top notch. No extra add ons- cost was excellent considering all that’s included. I will use CIE again and highly recommend it to others.

The tour was exceptional. I believe that Colin our tour guide was the reason the tour was so fun and entertaining. Not to mention his knowledge of Ireland's history, current topics and legends He just loves his country and that brought it home to me.

Our tour was beyond my expectations! Our tour guide in Scotland, Alasdair, was outstanding! What a great introduction into Scotland and it's history with humor! So many of the hotels were historical with stunning grounds..even in the rain. I loved the fresh air & breathtaking views, including the hikes Alasdair led during our free time in Pitlochery. Ireland was beautiful and interesting and stunning, historical hotels! I learned so much about Ireland's history from our guide. I especially loved the informal evening with the Irish group in Killarney(it was a smaller setting than our Scottish night, more personal, more interaction, great humor) and the Marine Pub and the Jaunting car in Killkarney with our guide, Michael Ryan. In Galway, Connor led us on a memorable and very entertaining introduction to Galway. Every day I would say,"oh, this is my favorite part" and the next day I would say that again about another place! I will always remember the amazing, attentive staff at the Granville in Waterford. Our guide, Jack, was outstanding !! For booking, I was a little confused about the airfare. I had never booked a tour like this and didn't always know the questions I should ask. in June CIE told me to contact British Airways so I could choose seats so my sister & I could sit together. But British Airways told me I had to wait for CIE to send me the tickets. I waited a few more weeks to receive the ticket email. When I didn't receive it, I called CIE back & told them what British Airways had said. They told me to call them again & be sure to say I was with CIE. If that didn't work to call CIE back. It did work this time, and I was fortunate enough to get 2 of the few remaining seats on the aisle together. Our flight on British Airways in Economy to Scotland was much for comfortable than in American Airlines on our trip home. I appreciated the backpack(it was well used) and other helpful items that were included in the mailing. We had excellent drivers-Paul in Scotland with his great sense of humor & Mick in Ireland driving the new, longer coach. I felt very safe. And that can be said of the entire trip. My one disappointment was our last night at the Clayton hotel in Dublin. Sport teams were staying there so it was full. My sister & I were assigned a room that is usually for wheelchair accessibility, at least the bathroom was..the room would have been too small. But the hotel had to come and clean twice to remove a very unpleasant order in the bathroom-first the shower curtain & then I asked them to clean the entire bathroom which they did. It was an interesting shower that had no place for your soap or shampoo, made a terrible whistling sound when I pulled a rope near the sink to engage something(first step in instructions). Then turned on the water in the shower. It was a raised platform for a wheelchair to roll upon so there was no border to hold in the water so it leaked all over the floor.We also had trouble getting the A/C to work..had to call for assistance again. I guess it was a fitting last night because it didn't make me want to stay there, sadly. I will recommend CIE to others and would certainly use them for any future tours. I posted pictures and summaries daily on Facebook for friends back home and kept a journal too so I wouldn't forget this amazing adventure in my life, like sheep shearing with Neal in Scotland!

Yes! I worked primarily with Affordable Tours to coordinate this tour. My Travel agent was terrific. I was impressed with how well organized CIE was with sending travel documents and overall responsive to my questions. The tour definitely met my expectations!

Yes, would we recommend CIE to friends and family and, yes, would use them again. We were impressed with the organization. It was a fast-paced tour which was good because we were able to see and do a lot in one week.

I have nothing but positive feedback my experience with CIE booking. Due to a medical occurance I had to rebook my trip. The changes were made without any problems and my trip was wonderful. Thanks

Ireland's BEST Tour company!

I booked online. I did not like that I could not request Specific seating together that it was randomly assigned by the airline. Booking agent told me I could update to Priority Seating after the tour was booked and get them changed. I did that and everything went as planned.
