Overall, the tour was fabulous. I was dissapointed in the quality of hotels we stayed at and also that the tours were so short. We went on a CIE tour to Ireland and Scotland and the hotels were so much nicer and the tours were longer....

the trip was fantastic...the tour guide,seamus, and the driver were excellent...the group of people on the tour were considerate and friendly...i do have a favor tho..there was a group picture taken and seamus said he would arrange for us all to have a copy emailed to us...NEVER HAPPENED...COULD YOU ARRANGE THAT FOR ME ?? ...

The tour allowed us to experience many regions and cities of Italy.

Really exceptional

We had Joe and Anya as our driver and tour guide, and they were great. The schedule was good too as we were on the go and saw so many beautiful places. The hotels were lovely and comfortable, and the food was great. I was so happy we booked through CIE tours. I would love to book Ireland next!

It was a good first impression of Ireland, but I woould probably not repeat

CIE Tours: th bus was fine, the driver/guide excellent--amusing banter, well informed, likeable, not overbearing--the first hotels very good, the one in Killarney was noisy, poor bedding, I could not sleep; the one near Shannon had poor plumbing and seems disorganized' rather than stop in cashel we were taken shopping, much too much shopping, I resent shopping with its implied driver kickbacks. The so-called medeival feast had pleasant entertainment but the food stank; the first night Irish sing along was amature hour only its energy saved it, but the food there was fine. The first day tour of Dublin Castel was professionally done but basically a waste of time unless you were a royalist.

Yes, I would recommend CIE which I have done and will continue to do. Well organized tours, great accommodations, and terrific breakfasts. I would prefer not to fly through Heathrow. Never a pleasant experience.

The trip was excellent

The booking service good have been a little better. The operators were helpful when booking but they didn't explain how we got our documents very well. When we arrive in Dublin at Terminal 1 we couldn't find CIE to get bus to our hotel. We called CIE and they didn't know what we talking about. The girl put us on hold to check it out, then we got cut off on the phone. We asked at the airport information desk and they CIE was in Terminal 2. So we walked over there. Luckily we found the rep. He told us to sit at the a certain table and wait for the bus driver. Bus driver showed and we followed downstairs. When he found out what hotel we were in we had the wrong bus driver. He called the first rep and we went back upstairs to meet him He was very rude, not helpful. We went back downstairs to a different spot and got our bus. Thankfully the rest of the trip was excellent.

Great tour, great guides, just great!

The on line booking was easy. I liked the on line pay ability. I did not use the flight service, as I booked my own. I did ask a question on line which was never answered, but I called, and it was answered. Everything I needed, I did find on line.
