Could not have had a better time with CIE.

On my trip to Scotland, the only matter that bothered me was we were late getting into the airport (1 :15 pm). We had been told the bus would meet us and take us to the hotel. Later on I found out the buses only run to noon. I was never told that by my travel agent. Other than that, everything was amazing. Our tour director was the best,
Pat O'Reardin, I would travel with him again, the sweetest man, our driver, Mark Ennis ,was out standing. Such pleasant men. They made my trip worth every penny.
Thank you for an unforgettable time in Scotland, I will travel CIE again.

The ease of picking out which tour we wanted, to booking and paying for it was excellent.

Touring a New Country with CIE

This was our second CIE bus tour. We like to visit a country for the first time in this manner. We find it informative and love that we don’t have to drive.
Once in Ireland and this time in Scotland. Both times our tour guides were fantastic!
Booking it was easy. The only issue was our plane seats weren’t assigned. When I tried to it seemed I was in limbo with no one able to assist me. Not CIE and not the airline until 48 hours prior to start of trip.
I would have chosen a different hotel in Glascow, otherwise the others were fine.

Enjoyed tour very much. Guide was great. Loved the itinerary.

Fantastic trip!

The booking process was easy and the tour was outstanding! Our guide, Di, was friendly and so knowledgeable. Our driver, John, was skillful and such a gentleman. Couldn’t be happier with the whole experience!

Amazing tour on all counts!

The Irish Pub Tour through CIE was truly amazing! Our driver Peter was the best tour guide anyone could ever ask for. His expert handling of our motor coach was only surpassed by his extraordinary knowledge of Irish history we learned throughout our trip. Was well worth the wait after being rescheduled 4 times due to the pandemic. I’d highly recommend this trip to anyone looking to see many incredible sights such as castles, cathedrals, beautiful countryside, as well as many, many pubs. A true flavor for much of what Ireland holds.

I would definitely book this trip or other CIE trips again. The guides were knowledgeable, the places chosen for the itinerary were great, and the accommodations were excellent.

Tour and guide was great, but CIE doesn't answer their phones, unacceptable

The tour itself and our tour guide were excellent. The service by CIE Tours admin side was very bad. We attempted to contact them multiple times in multiple ways in the weeks up to our tour to ask a simple question, and got no response. We emailed to no response, and attempted to call, but no one answered the phone. This makes us unwilling to recommend CIE Tours to anyone else. We'd love to recommend our tour guide as he was excellent, but not with the way the customer service and administrative side was handled. We still have gotten nothing from them.

CIE Takes Care of Everything!

Initially I had a great experience booking our trip, connecting it with friends we were traveling with and receiving documentation in a timely manner. However, rebooking the trip (due to Covid) was troublesome. We were initially going to be forced to go on a rebooked trip when some of our party was not available. Eventually I appealed to a higher power and they let us change the date of our rebook. While we appreciated that it would have been nice to not have to go through the anguish of initially thinking our trip was going to be less than perfect for our group.

It couldn't have been better

Our guide and driver were amazing! They really made the trip. The hotels, food offerings and attractions were top of the line. I came back and immediately told everyone what an incredible experience we had and that, touring is definitive the way to travel to ensure you get the most out of a trip. Thanks CIE!!

We had such a great time on our Irish day tripper tour. Our tour guide was amazing. He was very knowledgeable and had the best sense of humor.

Friendly and efficient

This was my second tour with CIE and I found it extremely easy to book. I had a few questions because I could not stay the whole tour but the booking agent was extremely helpful, thanked me for being a repeat customer and booked me right away. I would've been able to do it online, but since I had a question, I called CIE instead.

Our tour with Peter was top class.

Peter was an amazing guide and driver. We enjoyed his lovely stories and historical details provided.

CIE stayed in contact with us during Covid . They honored the prices from 2020. This was my 3rd CIE tour and it was a great tour.

The Dunraven Arms hotel and John our tour guide were top notch.

This was my first tour. The backpack they sent was a life saver, with everything I needed. The tour guide was funny and knowledgeable. The accommodations were spectacular! It was a wonderful trip!

Scotland Trip

Booking service was super simple. Other people said they used a travel agent, but I didn't find that necessary. Booked flights through CIE, and they were super helpful when one was cancelled, getting us on another flight very easily. I felt well taken care of the whole time. We were able to see a lot of Scotland in a relatively short time. The guide (Di) was informative and joyful, the drivers were excellent and I felt very safe

CIE always delivers! I recommend them to everyone I know!

Easy to use online booking. I've always booked on my own without a travel agent and it has always run smoothly. It is easy to get ahold of someone over the phone if I have questions and all my issues are always resolved.

Loved the Ireland South Daytripper itinerary, our driver/guide, fellow tour people, hotel in Adare, scenery, etc.

We used CIE tours for our Ireland trip. I like that it includes all the tours and many of the meals. The tour director and driver were very knowledgeable and added so much insightful information during our trip. The accommodations were very good.
