Wonderful experience and worth the experience

It was a great bargain but I would recommend changes to the Scottish dinner/entertainment. It went on too long and I would cut by at least an hour. I would also recommend more time for shopping or site seeing.

Took care of all of the details. So that I could have a worry free vacation.

The booking service was very good. Our questions were always answered. The packets we received were very detailed as to what our trip would entail.
Hotel accommodations were very nice. Every hotel was very clean, beds were very comfortable. The only things about everyone hotel was the only electrical outlet in the bathrooms were for shavers. No outlet for hairdryer or curling irons, which are important to women. The service is the hotel was very professional, people very knowledgeable and always willing to help.
We had the BEST tour director, Mert O'Saughnessy. He was so knowledgeable, very organized, recommendations for eating places. His tour was not only informative but he made it very interesting and he had a great sense of humor. We were on a brand new coach, so it was very comfortable and clean.
The itinerary was great, so quite a bit of Ireland. We would have liked to stay in a
few places a little longer.
The tour guides for various sites were all very good.
We all had a wonderful experience.

Had a great time! Enjoyed all the tours. John tour guide was informative & funny. Our bus driver, Garybwas a good driver & kind. Only complaint we had was no one was at Heathrow Airport to pick us up. Had to call for someone. Driver that came, Fernandez was very kind & got us to our first tour just in time!

The best of Ireland

We had the best tour guide and coach driver that took us everywhere in Ireland with comfort and ease. They treated us with in-depth history and folklore and singing, it was truly fabulous. We can't wait to go back on another CIE Tour and see more places we've never been to.

The tour was very well run and we had Murt O'shea for our tour director. He was fantastic and shared so much history with us. The places we had lunch were great with terrific service. And we loved the new bus we were on/. Would use you again and reccomend to others.

The tour guides were exceptional. The hotels, meals and destinations were top notch. We felt well informed all the time. I want to take another trip with them. Pat was incredible!

The trip was good except for a couple of things.

I would recommend them again. It was rather difficult during Covid and staff shortages.

This was my first tour with CIE but surely won’t be my last!

From booking to the tour through the execution of the trip, this was a flawless, top notch experience. The greeters at the airport, transport to hotel, exquisite hotel accommodations, fine dining, , wonderful itinerary and a superb guide/bus driver, Phillip Duffy. It was all, in fact more, than we’d ever hoped for. We so look forward to our next CIE your!

Our tour experience was excellent. We had a wonderful time.

booking was easy but getting them on the phone was very difficult

The entire experience was first class.

The accommodations, food and guides were first class. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about every place we went and of the history of Ireland.

We booked through a travel agent.

Loved the whole two week trip! Loved the history and all the places we were able to see. Mark Tyrrell(Spelling?) was the greatest guide and bus driver. He was informative and humorous.
A couple items that I would have liked ahead of the start of the trip: It might be nice to have the meeting with all of the tour before it actually starts. For example: We had a tour guide right away for the Dublin city tour. (We had the meeting in the evening after the tour) We did not have our tip money ready for the guide--thinking she we would be seeing her again--but it was the only time we saw her.
The other information that really was very important to get through the airport in a speedy manner was using the VeriFLY app before we arrived at the airport to depart.
Other people from our tour that left earlier, called to tell us to use the app--otherwise we would not have known about it. IT MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE IN HOW FAST WE WENT THROUGH THE AIRPORT CHECK-IN! It would be nice if CIE or the airlines would give the link to the app before leaving for the trip to use on the return trip.

Great trip

Great trip. We have done several CIE tours and this one was very good. The tour guide, Marty, was excellant.

We went through a travel agent who took care of most of the booking but it seemed very easy.

Overall good experience

Booking was easy. However, due to Covid we has to re book 2x. That was easy as well. However, when we got closer to the trip It was impossible to talk to someone. long wait times ( more than an hour) to speak to someone.

Teriffic Tour. Highly recommend the CFI tour. Even better if you have Brian

Great tour. All reservations, plane, hotel, food, sites visited, were made by CIE. everything on the scheduled was well planned and Brian our tour guide was exceptional. Many great locations were on the schedule to visit.
