Our Scotland trip experience exceeded our expectations! Thank you...

We originally scheduled our trip for August 2020. Due to the pandemic, our trip was rescheduled to August 2021 and then again it was cancelled and rescheduled to August 2022. CIE was very accommodating and flexible in helping us to modify our trip plans over the course of the pandemic to ensure we were able to ultimately take our family vacation.

Wonderful introduction to Ireland

Tour was reasonably priced. The welcome package had good information and the VAT card to get you started. Hotels were 4.2 stars or higher. Check in was pick up your room keys, no signing in.They booked venue times so that in most cases we were first of the day. Every guide we had at the various sites was first class. Paddy our bus driver/guide was a wealth of knowledge and extremely skillful both city and country. Bus was comfortable and had emergency potty on board. We saw many sites we would not have seen or learned so much about. There were some sites I wold have liked to have had more time to explore, but the trade off was such a variety of places. Would definitely do again.

CIE Tours was an awesome experience of a very beautiful country! Would recommend this Tour to see all of Ireland with a great itinerary! We saw and did a lot of fun things with a great group of new friends! Our Driver Sean Gray was the best! Very knowledgeable, funny man! The Hotels and food were the best! If you want to see Ireland, do it with CIE Tours, you won't be sorry!

A Great Time!

Our tour guide Brian, bud driver Mervin, and overall itinerary were all great! They were so knowledgeable, hardworking, and always made sure that everyone was safe and taken care of. I just wish that certain excursions were planned for longer allotted times (e.g., our time in Galway City, etc.).

Best vacation ever

From start to finish this tour was wonderful Anya our tour guide and Colum our driver in Scotland and Tommy our guide and Brandon our driver in Ireland were so great they took care of everything they were very knowledgeable of the history of each country also very friendly and entertaining. The drivers of these big buses on very narrow roads were so great at getting us where we needed to go safely. The itinerary was excellent we saw so much . We are very happy we used CIE Tours

Brian our bus driver and tour guide was fantastic, he make the trip fun, informative .We started off missing the first two days because of flight delays which put us in Waterford on the early am hour of 1 a.m.. The rest of the tour was fantastic. Brian was welcoming and understanding and helped us as much as he could You have a gem in him. Keep him..

Easty to book

Booking service was okay but I did have trouble sometimes getting through. I just felt that because of Covid you were probably understaffed. Otherwise I was very pleased with the trip. Great guide and driver. Are only asking about the booking service? I am happy to answer anything but I don't really know what you are looking for.

Great tour

The taste of Italy tour was to say the least fantastic. The tour guide Diana went out of her way to make sure that everyone not only got their money's worth but enjoyed themselves and also learned something of Italy. I would make this tour again.
There were however a couple of bumps in the road. We left the Scottish Castles and Clans tour to participate in the Taste of Italy. Air arrangements were made by CIE, and we were scheduled to fly with a 50 minute layover in Amsterdam. It was necessary to go completely across the airport in Amsterdam and pass through passport control and our flight in was 30 minutes late. KLM was very good about rescheduling us but we were late arriving in Venice. Since we were late there was no CIE rep to greet us at the airport and no one answered the emergency phone number supplied on our travel documents we had to pay 150 Euros for a water taxi to our hotel.

Our 1st trip to Ireland.

This was our first trip to Ireland and we were very pleased with the quality of accomodations, the friendly staff and the variety of places visited.

Our driver, Joe, was amazing as was the tour. We were on the Taste of Ireland and Scotland and that is exactly what it was. We saw the highlights of both great countries and now we have a list of places we need to visit to get a deeper appreciation.
