Ireland South Daytripper - 8 Days/7 Nights
This was a very good and well planned trip. Our tour guide Anthony was very excellent and both our hotels were great especially the Dunraven Arms Hotel in Adare. I cannot express how everyone on their staff were so friendly, polite and made us very comfortable. I rate it the best hotel we ever stayed in. Our hotel in Dublin was nice but pretty much the same as any other big city hotel. All of our day trips from Adare with Anthony and the motor coach were excellent and he made it all informative plus he was an excellent driver. All our meals were excellent as well. Group size very good only 25 of us and all had a great time.

Taste of Italy with Sorrento - 10 Days/9 Nights-Beautiful Italy
CIE’s Taste of Italy tour was absolutely everything I could’ve hoped for and more! The tour highlighted many of Italy’s most renowned sights and our tour guide was wonderful! I will never travel to Europe again without doing a tour like this. This whole process was easy and required minimal planning on our behalf. It was a memorable experience!

Gems of Southern England - 8 Days/7 Nights-Good tour could have been better
The agenda was exciting; the hotels were top notch. I did feel, however, that our Tour Director was more of a “guide” than “director”. He showed very little latitude in how the tour was run. There were opportunities that were missed.

Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way - 9 Days/8 Nights
The trip was so well organized. The hotels, meals and transportation were top-notch. The best part was our driver, Dominic, who was able to navigate narrow roads while speaking in great detail about the history of Ireland.

Scottish & Irish Gold - 16 Days/15 Nights-Good way to see Scotland and Ireland
The Scotland part of the tour could not have been better. The Ireland part could have been better. The difference was the tour guide. The hotels were excellent. The food was great. The sight seeing was wonderful. The first time I took this tour, we kept the same guide for both parts. We didn't like changing tour guides. Kelly was so good. She was fun and energetic and entertaining. Took care of all our needs and anticipated them for a smooth trip. Not so with our Ireland guide.

Scottish Clans & Castles - 10 Days/9 Nights
Ian was a wonderful tour director. John, our driver, was safe, efficient, and expert on those narrow roads. Every accommodation was taken care of. Having meals, transport, lodging, and entry to attractions taken care of every day made taking in the sites and scenery more enjoyable. I fell in love with Scotland.

Excellent tour director, driver, food, lodging and no extra costs. The locations each held a little magic along with interesting history- and lots of troll stories! All inclusive, interesting facts and folk lure and an amazing tour director with a great sense of humor and storytelling. Don’t miss it!

Scottish & Irish Dream - 14 Days/13 Nights-A wonderful adventure to see much of the Scottish and Irish landmarks.
Great Tour Guide and Driver in Scotland.
Irish tour was with a driver/guide and that was a difficult task for one person to navigate those narrow roads and give country info at the same time.

Irish Gold - 9 Days/8 Nights-Ireland, it is worth the trip
We were able to see many sights in Ireland. IT was our first time out of country. We traveled with five couples and we had a very enjoyable time and made many memories. The bus was comfortable, our tour guide, Brian was very knowledgeable, and the bus driver, Martin has an art of getting around some tight spots. We loved the food and how nice everyone was. Ireland's history is just fascinating.
The Cliffs of Moher were breathtaking. It was hard to believe that we were sitting in Sean's Bar and the bar was around since 900 AD. Galway was quaint and we enjoyed a fish and chips lunch before our walking tour. Killary Harbour catamaran cruise was just beautiful. We would have loved to spend more time at each place but understand there was a schedule and we had to keep it. Kylemore Abbey was also very beautiful with much to see. The Blarney castle was very nice but we needed more time to explore the grounds. The sheep dog visit was great and our tour guide recommended we get lunch to go so we wound up eating it on the Cliffs of Moher and did not waste time in the cafe. We loved the entertainment at Kate Kearney's Cottage. The scenery driving there was spectacular. The food was delicious too. We had a lovely time at the Marine bar drinking Irish coffee and listening to the music. The Killarney National Park jaunting car ride was very relaxing and our carriage driver kept us laughing. The Guinness storehouse tour was interesting.
The weather could not have been any nicer. Sunny, breezy and in the 60's. We dodged the rain just about the entire time. Even our taxi driver told us that he had been to the Cliffs of Moher five times and has never seen the water.
We would have loved to have been able to check in to the Royal Marine hotel early the morning we arrived, since we were on an overnight flight but the rooms were not ready. We really liked The Great Southern Killarney hotel. It was charming and the grounds were beautiful. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. All the hotels were clean. There were even washcloths available at some of them. We were told ahead of time that wash clothes are not the usual in Ireland.
Please be aware that the soft drinks come in a little glass bottle and cost around four euro. Definitely ask what is included in the dinners that are part of the tour. Sometimes soft drinks are not included. Just coffee or hot tea. Also, please have extra euro on hand for all the walking tour guides, carriage drivers, tour guide, bus driver and everyone that you encounter on the tour. Some in our group were caught off guard and did not think they had to tip and one of the guides was a little upset. We couldn't get a straight answer before we left for vacation. You can carry US dollars and some hotels will do an exchange to euros. Or you can use your ATM card.
Bring a good rain jacket and walking shoes. Layering clothes is good. We were able to leave stuff on the bus and feel safe that it would not get stolen.
