Outstanding Tour

I used to ****** tours myself, and must say that our tour director/driver was a model...funny, informative, professional. The accommodations were excellent. Of the many local guides we had, only one didn't stand out, and I'd still give her 3 stars. We will most certainly be returning customers.

I super enjoyed the sheep dog demonstration. The tour’s pace was very good…no rushing not too early a start in the morning.
Yes I would recommend CIE tours again.

Maria, our guide was kind, knowledgeable, and fun! We saw so much and heard history and lore. It was clear that she loves Iceland and that was imparted to us.

It was a perfectly well organized beautiful tour that hit all the highlights. From thr hotels in Venice and Rome to the meals thay also included wine, everything was a dream.

Fabulous tour! Would highly recommend it.

We would recommend them but have one disappointed thing that happened on our tour. Our flights were scheduled for us to come in on the first day of our tour and we missed the first day completely becuasenof a 30 min delay. I did note this on the survey we received at the end of the tour. We should have been flown in the day before.That was very stressful and we paid for something we would have never made or enjoyed being such a tight schedule.

In search of the northern lights in Iceland

Loved the tour, but would have preferred a little more free time for adventuring. Also, it felt rushed on occasion when we would have like more time at one location & less in another. Most of the flights arrive early in the morning & after an overnight flight, it would have been really nice if our rooms could have been ready despite the 3pm check-in times customary in Iceland. Overall a very nice & memorable experience!

We used a local travel agent in the states. Booking this trip was extremely easy. I called CIE to gain additional information and the telephone rep was both friendly and informative. Five stars on hotels, meals, excursions, bus and our tour guide Brian who made this trip fun and memorable.

Very impressed with the service I received when my travel agent decided to retire mid booking. They were very helpful to assist me to do everything myself and to help me with making the plane arrangements.

We booked our CIE tour through their office and spoke to Nicole Cruz who was pleasant and very helpful. She helped make booking our 1st trip to Ireland a breeze.
First and foremost, we feel that our first trip to Ireland was memorable and better than we
imagined because of our wonderful bus driver/tour guide, Brian. We saw so many sites around the entire country and Brian was very knowledgeable and entertaining. He had a great sense of humor and was a wealth of information! The bus was comfortable with excellent visibility to see the beautiful scenery. The hotels that we stayed at were mostly great, especially the Cabra Castle Hotel which was amazing! The one exception was the City Hotel in Derry. We were very disappointed with this hotel. The double bed was too small for 2 adults and the bathroom was tiny with the toilet behind the door. There was also an issue with lack of staff in the casual dining area - one waitress for the entire area and there was a mix up regarding the time of our breakfast on Sunday. The only good thing was the location.
