Great tour, terrible time with booking

I booked through a travel agent so the booking service would never talk to me directly. However, my travel agent had a horrible time communicating with the booking service, and my first agent actually gave up and handed the trip over to another agency.

Excellent tour

The booking service was fine. Unfortunately, once you booked it was very hard to get a representative on the phone without holding for a long time.

AMAZING

Amazing tour! This is my second trip with CIE and I continue to be in awe. We saw so much of the UK. Our driver Dennis was beyond skilled, helpful and a pro on the narrow road ways. Our tour guide Deidre took care of every little detail. She and Dennis were friendly, approachable and such a great team.
Dee shared small details about the towns and info that we wouldn’t have known otherwise. With her guidance, we stopped for some amazing road side photo ops. All in all, I’d recommend CIE to anyone.

Great tour! Fun and interesting!

We went through a private travel agent and didn't have to deal with the booking service.
We experienced a lot of problems with the air travel. I contacted CIE several time and received very good service.

Memorable anniversary vacation and visit to Ireland!

Our Zoe's Cruises travel agent Sandy Gunder made the booking for us with CIE Tours. From all accounts everything went well as we gradually paid off the trip before it was due.

The Adventure tour was so much fun! I feel like we saw so much of the Country. The hotels and meals were right up there. The coach was comfortable and our driver/guide Jeremiah was the best! He was so polite, friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help anyone with a smile.

Helpful and Flexible Company!

CIE was great to work with! We originally booked the tour in 2019 and had to delay 2 times due to the pandemic. They were always helpful when I called and able to answer my questions. They were also accommodating when we had to make a last-minute change, and I appreciated that more than anything!
My small group tour was actually two tour buses that were combined at every stop. That was not what I anticipated and not what was advertised. Otherwise, I would have paid less and gone with the full size tour.
Overall, I enjoyed working with CIE and would book with them again.

Amazing tour

First of all, they were always there to answer any questions we had before we booked after. They kept us updated for the years our trip was cancelled for Covid. They kept us updated for flight changes. When our trip did happen in June, Mark was awesome when our flight got cancelled out of Milwaukee to Newark. He helped my daughter(who was traveling with me) on the phone all the time. We unfortunately ended up missing our first day and a half through no fault of yours because we had to fly out a day later. Our driver John was amazing. So knowledgeable. He helped one of our passengers who had Parkinson's professionally and compassionately. He always made sure we had all the information we needed for the day and the next. The Irish Heritage and Dromoland Castle was an amazing, amazing tour! I will certainly recommend CIE to anyone. I will never forget such a wonderful time in Ireland. Thanks to all!

Vacation planning made easy!

Even with multiple delays due to Covid, CIE representatives worked with us on the tour changes and made it easy to make those changes needed, and were very friendly doing so.

Great time!

I thoroughly enjoyed my CIE tour. The staff was very knowledgeable and pleasant. We visited places that were fun to see. My only issue was on the morning of our departure, the shuttle did not come to pick us up to take us to the airport. I ended up having to call a taxi and pay for it myself.

Wonderful tour even though the beginning was patched together due to Covid.

the tour was very interesting and found ways to alleviate the long stretches of empty landscape. Most of the hotels were good to great and the food provided was wonderful.

Excellent customer service!

With all the Covid delays, CIE worked with us until we could finally take our tour. We were very pleased with the service!

Use CIE they won't disappoint!!

This was our second trip with CIE and they didn't disappoint. We had a great time and would definitely return. Our bus driver/tour guide, Lawrence, was terrific. Very knowledgeable and personable.

We had a fabulous time. Our tour guide, Michael was fantastic. He gave us fantastic information on the history of Ireland and kept us on schedule. We had a great mix of planned activities and free time. We would certainly book again!
