CIE tours is the best

My first trip to Ireland and CIE tours made it an amazing journey.

This was our first tour. We has a wonderful driver- very knowledgeable and Collum was very personable. Our guodes were just a good. We'd highly recommend CIE Tours

Great Tour, But needed to advocate for myself....

This was my third CIE tour and I have recommended the company to others. Always booked through same travel company. There were some itinerary glitches that I noticed and was able to address by changing tour dates. Because of high season and other issues tour still had issues. Overall though it was great.

Loved the hotels, food and tours!

I would recommend CIE tours to anyone considering visiting Ireland, Scotland or England.
Booking was easy and they provided all they promised and more.

June 2018 pub tour.

Every facet of our trip was excellent and perfect! Denis O'Sullivan was exemplary as a driver /guide: versed in history, social information, and repartee. The bus was comfortable and meticulously clean inside and out. I recommend CIE to everyone I talk to and will definitely take another tour with CIE. I loved the hotels, border collie herding, Irish coffee, as well as the Guinness and Smithwicks tours. The balance of tourist spots and local pubs gave a balance to the trip and I fell in love with the beautiful countryside and, most of all, the people I met in the pubs. Easily the best trip I have taken. Thanks to CIE for their impeccable attention to detail. There were no flaws in their organization and Denis made everything happen perfectly and on time. The four of us have nothing but wonderful memories and photos. Karin

Very hard to get someone in person after initial booking online

A great adventure

I booked the trip online. It was easy. I booked the hotel a day early and arranged transport also.

Booking was fine. Our travel agent took care of this for us.

Excellent tour with exception of the last day

I sent an email to our CIE agent and got no response here is a copy.
Please pass this on to the appropriate official. The tour was excellent 13 days of fun and learning along with the sight seeing. The last day after we submitted our survery was to say the least a mess. The remaining 24 people on the last couple of days were told a bus was to pick us up at the hotel, the Clayton Hotel Burlington road at 8:45 AM which would take us to the double deck green Dublin loop bus for which we all had vouchers. No bus showed, the hotel people seem to think a bus would arrive at 9:30 but again no bus showed. We were told it was a 10 minute walk but no directions were available just walk down that street. At this point we had to take a cab. No one at the hotel seemed to know anything.

On the 14th day, members of our group of 8 made arrangements in accordance with the voucher provided to use for a VIP taxi pickup, We told them 8 people and 8 suitcases. This was for a 5:30AM pickup. The 1st taxi that showed up was a small mini van which was able to take 4 of the 8 in our group. This taxi left but told the remaining 4 people another taxi was on the way and would be there in a few minutes. When the taxi showed up it could only carry 2 people and there luggage. Another taxi had to be called to take the 2 remaining people to the airport. We should never have had all 8 people under 1 vouchers. In was a nightmare trying to get to the airport. Better arrangements should have been made.

For future references vouchers should only be issued to groups of 2 people or change the arrangements with VIP taxi services.

Everything was easy. The whole tour was well planned and executed. The hotels and meals were excellent, it was a great vacation experience. John Green was the best coach driver and tour guide ever.

Excellent great locations, food, and an terrific tour guide

I booked with my travel agent. But we had many questions and everytime we wrote directly to CIE and always had a quick response. The trip was excellent and the fact that our bus was always the first everywhere we went we never had lineup.
The weather was excellenct 17 days in the UK and no rain this made it wonderful although something no one can control.

I would recommend your booking service to anyone. We were very satisfied.

Only wish is CIE Tours would offer tours to South America and other parts of Europe. We will definitely recommend CIE to our California neighbors...
