Outstanding very helpful booking my tour and airfare.

Good but could be improved

Hotels and food were good. Itinerary covered all places we wanted to see. Disappointed that we were told that we could not use coach toilet and spent a lot of time queuing for public toilet instead of sightseeing.

Everyone I’ve spoken with at CIE Tours was very courteous and professional. I rated the booking service a 4 because the wait time to speak to someone is extremely long. However, once I got someone on the phone, the booking process went smoothly, and if I had questions, all questions were answered clearly and sufficiently.

Solo traveler

The booking was easy but I wish they would warn people of the level of activity each trip has. My group was older and some of them had trouble and couldn't do some of the activities.

Our driver was The best super knowledgeable and wntertaining definately set the standards for my other tours which didn't even match up to his.

This holiday tour of Scotland was the second time I traveled with CIE. The best by far! I wouldn’t contemplate booking with any other company. Our brilliant tour guide Graham was so friendly and knowledgeable.

Tour was great but preparation was a bit lacking.

It was a great tour. But, I was a bit nervous several times after we booked and before we left because there was absolutely no communication from them for months. I'd suggest that CIE follows the Viking Cruises model and set up some sort of automatic, "It's only 3 months until you go!" kind of email that is sent every month of so. That was literally my only concern in the whole process.

What a wonderful trip!

I enjoyed every minute of this trip. The accommodations were great, the bus was new, clean and comfortable and our guide was superior. I would absolutely recommend both this trip and this tour group. And I'm a tough cookie to please!

Professional service from start to finish of the tour, our guide Elvis was excellent & very knowledgeable.

The time spent at the different locations was just right and the local guides were very good.

We had Mick as our driver and Liam as our tour guide and they made the whole trip even better than we had expected. We all felt like we were their favorite group, and we all got along so well. There was so much fun every day and lots of interesting information. We didn't want to miss a minute of it. We were always on time everywhere and missed the crowds, plus we all had fun writing silly Limericks and Liam was always game to read them. Mick and Liam always greeted us and helped us in and out of the bus safely. Thank you for such a wonderful trip

I would absolutely use CIE tours again. I loved that everything was paid for ahead of time. No hidden surprises. The hotels we stayed at were nice, I really liked the itinerary. It was our first time to Ireland and felt we got to see a lot during our stay. Everything was planned out ahead of time, very punctual. The best part of our whole trip was out tour driver Oisin Quinn. He was great!! He was full of knowledge and really gave us interesting information. He made the whole trip. Would love to go again.

We had terrific guides and bus drivers. The schedule and activities were all interesting and timed well for our energy level. Most of the hotels were fine. It was hot and most didn't have AC, but all the hotels met our needs. The one in Inverness was particularly lovely.

Good price for a great trip

You had the best prices for the level of tour we were interested in.
We were a bit frighrened to learn that the agent we were working
with was no longer with your company but happily it all went
well anyway.

It was a well planned and run tour. Got to see all the major sights and the food was delicious. Every meal was served piping hot and with hundreds of travellers at an event...that's amazing. Hotels were fine with great locations. Our driver, Jim, was extremely efficient and VERY entertaining. The castle banquet was very well done featuring talented entertainment.

A team that can't be beat, for the vacation of a lifetime !

All trips booked were great. Hotels between 3 & 5 stars. Best driver I have ever seen (I drove Phila Fire engines for 33+ years) Sarah Wayper was fantastic ! Our Guide Manager John Cunningham was cheerful, knowledgeable, helpful & fun. We can't think of any way anyone could do better!

Great travel with CIE

The travel agency that handled my travel arrangements found a good air fare that was very satisfactory. Avoya also made my arrangements with CIE. I traveled to Ireland 3 years ago with CIE.
