We enjoyed our tour very much.All the hotels chosen were very good,except notable in Killarney.We were dunned at the checkout for a 7up.It was embarrassing,because we had no idea,we had been charged for it.Notes should be added to the tours that coffee and water are the only free drinks.Our driver Jim was funny,informative and lovely.He made the travel fun and we all felt at ease.I do feel were didnt have enough time at Blarney Castle.We had to chose between touring the grounds and gardens or stand in line an hour to kiss the Blarney Stone.We loved Ireland and we cannot wait to visit again!

Our tour of Ireland was so beautiful, stress free and well organized. They changed seats everyday, so everyone got a fair chance to experience the tour from a different view. We stayed in 4 or 5 star hotels, and travelled in a luxury coach. Our tourist attractions were all included, and in some cases included private tours.

Trip of a Lifetime

From the sights, to the food, to the pubs, to our awesome tour guide, Michael, it was a trip we’ll never forget.

My initial booking was through CIE but was transferred to Vacations to Go because VTG was willing to give us a discount that CIE office was unwilling to do. But the CIE staff was informative and helpful.

A Great Sampler of the Emerald Isle

I have wanted to visit Ireland since I was little, and I chose this tour because it offered many of the places that I wanted to see. It was a very packed itinerary, felt like we were on the go all the time, but in less than a week I was able to cross the Halfpenny Bridge in Dublin and stand atop the Cliffs of Moher and enjoy fish and chips in many different pubs. It was a relief to have someone else take care of the driving and the hotel arrangements and most of the meals. Our tour guide, Jim, was informative and entertaining. I fell in love with Killarney and Galway, so now I just need to find the time and money to go back.

My agent was friendly, professional and reassuring with great follow through as promised in planning our trip.

What was good - the tour - variety of things to see, a very good tour director/bus driver, pleasant group of fellow travelers. Needed - a map of Dublin that showed the downtown & the first hotel on the same map, with distances, plus some info on how to get downtown & bus routes - we almost killed ourselves trying to walk there the first day. Also, and i think I have already said this, I would have preferred to have you charge us a higher fee and pay the bus driver more money; I don't like having a "mandatory" tip. We are not shoppers, so we thought the tour was a bit heavy on shopping, but we understand why you do it.

Great Scotland, good Ireland

Booking was by phone and went well. But no documents received until I called 4 weeks later. Our driver and tour guide in Scotland were exceptional. They were always in the lounge and dinning area in the evening to help in any way. They made the effort to engage anyone who sat by themselves. We couldn’t have asked for better. Pat and Danny were delightful. Our driver and tour guide in Ireland were adaquet and polite. But they were not as personable nor as engaging as Pat and Danny. They did ask questions but were not about in the evening .
