Used a second party to book the trip. The few times I did contact CIE, the service was excellent.

Great value for the cost

Very well organized, great itinerary, but the most outstanding asset was Brian Hanrahan the tour director.

The booking service was great! We had some bad experiences in getting there but it was because of the weather in New York. I would definitely book through Marty Harris and CIE again!

Scotland scenery, great; Ireland commentary, excellent!

Area and sights covered were interesting and the commentary was educational, especially Tom O'Reilly's in Ireland.

My travel agent, Roisin (hope I spelled it correctly) was wonderful! This is my second trip with CIE and she again made booking a breeze. There wasn't a question I asked that went unanswered.

Taste of Ireland Tour Hits Highlights

The tour covered a lot of geographic area hitting the highlights. While we wished we could have additional time at certain spots, we understood that this was the only way to fit in as many sites.

Second tour with CIE Tours. Both have been extremely well done. Hotels were great and itinerary excellent. Very professional staff.

When I finally arrived in Ireland and caught up with the tour all was good.

I gave them 4 stars because of the issues with airline reservations. I even called them to ask about it, but they didn't think it was an issue with the answer "not to worry, we'll put you on the next flight out" Problem was the next flight was 24 hours later causing me to miss the first 2 days of my tour plus the expense and inconvenience of taking a bus to catch up with the tour. The booking of the tour itself was excellent and the rest of the tour was very good. I believe the girls trying to help were very sincere and caring. I have taken 7 tours with CIE, and I definitely will be taking more tours with them.
