There were many stops; nice accommodations, knowledgeable guides, organized. Our transport to hotel from airport didn’t show up so we took the tube.

Excellent guides and itinerary

Except for waiting for a $200 taxi fee reimbursement, trip was good.

With the exception of a non-existent transfer driver from Edinburgh to Glasgow and a taxi fare of $200 which we still have not been reimbursed for, the trip went well.

DERRY HOTEL IS HORRIBLE

The service was very good with the exception of the hotel in Derry which had a jazz festival with hundreds of people in the lobby non masked. Came home with Covid

A great nine days!

Perfect vacation, well planned and a wonderful driver made for an incredible tour of Ireland.

Phil, our guide was phenomenal. He was informative, fun and welcoming! Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We were celebrating my mom’s 80th birthday and left with memories that will last a lifetime!

Fabulous Tour Experience

It was a fantastic tour. The sites we visited were wonderful. The tour guide was friendly, funny and knowledgeable. The coach was comfortable and hotels excellent

This was our first bus tour and a trip that we waited 20 years to take and it was OUTSTANDING! Our guide (Onya) and driver (Brent) were always organized, pleasant, and informative. Great meals and hotels. Loved it!

Interesting Trip

The tour was well organized and took us to interesting places. Would have preferred a little more free time in the morning. Enjoyed the jaunty horse-driven ride, the ferry and trip on the fjord.

Tour director Phil and coach driver Lee were great. Site visits were good. Hotel accommodations in Cardiff (next to noisy bar) was about a 3 star hotel. Communication about pickup time from hotel on last morning was incorrect. Three other passengers also had issues regarding this issue. Either incorrect information or none at all. Our information was incorrect.

Absolutely incredible!

This was our first CIE tour and it was everything we dreamed of. We booked the 10 day Irish Legends tour and added an extra day at end. CIE took care of everything. Prior to our departure, we unexpectedly received two backpacks, ponchos, converters, document holders, name tags and luggage wraps in the mail. We were picked up from the airport on the early morning, we were able to check in and relax prior to meeting our tour guide at 2pm. We didn’t have to wait to check into our various hotels(which were beautiful), keys were ready whenever we arrived a new location. Baggage was picked up and from the bus and delivered to our rooms, upon checkout, we place our bags outside our rooms and they were handled with care and would be in our rooms at the next hotel. Our tour guide, Frankie was the best. Very knowledgable, considerate and always looked out for 9our small group which consisted of 24 on a bus that held 53 persons. We were able to spread out and we all had a terrific time.

Amazing attention to detail. We never lifted a finger. Everything was so well organized and beautiful: the hotels, the food, the coach, and especially Frankie Mulcahy, our tour guide.

Tour was great the stateside prep not so good

As stated the tour was great and we really appreciated Alastair's and Eddie's leadership, location information and insights!
The only negative for the whole CIE effort was the stateside coordination and cooperation!

Very Green and Very Interesting

All that was included in the outline and more. Great stories comfortable ride and plenty to do. Definitely recommend CIE for touring Ireland. I would give grade A for everything that was provided.

Wonderful trip! Lifetime memories made!

Both our tour guide and driver in Scotland were excellent. The Irish guide/driver was very good too, but one cannot do the job of two.

If you're thinking about Ireland/Scotland, just book it. You will love it!

Wonderful, Scenic, Informative Tour!

We had a wonderful trip! Our Tour Director was awesome! Joe taught us so much about the history and current events of Ireland! He was a joy to have taking care of us every day!
All of our Guides were informative and thoughtful.
We saw and explored so many places and sights, that it's hard to remember everything.

Accommodations were exceptional from the beds to the views!
The service at each location was wonderful!

If I had to make any complaints, it would be the dinners included. While they were very good, they were so similar each night.
The coach was comfortable and always kept very clean.
Thanks again for a wonderful vacation and please let our Tour Director Joe know how much we appreciated his thoughtful, informative narrative!
