Everything was amazing, down to the verysmallest detail.
Amazing attention to detail. We never lifted a finger. Everything was so well organized and beautiful: the hotels, the food, the coach, and especially Frankie Mulcahy, our tour guide.

Tour was great the stateside prep not so good
As stated the tour was great and we really appreciated Alastair's and Eddie's leadership, location information and insights!
The only negative for the whole CIE effort was the stateside coordination and cooperation!

Very Green and Very Interesting
All that was included in the outline and more. Great stories comfortable ride and plenty to do. Definitely recommend CIE for touring Ireland. I would give grade A for everything that was provided.

Wonderful trip! Lifetime memories made!
Both our tour guide and driver in Scotland were excellent. The Irish guide/driver was very good too, but one cannot do the job of two.

Wonderful, Scenic, Informative Tour!
We had a wonderful trip! Our Tour Director was awesome! Joe taught us so much about the history and current events of Ireland! He was a joy to have taking care of us every day!
All of our Guides were informative and thoughtful.
We saw and explored so many places and sights, that it's hard to remember everything.
Accommodations were exceptional from the beds to the views!
The service at each location was wonderful!
If I had to make any complaints, it would be the dinners included. While they were very good, they were so similar each night.
The coach was comfortable and always kept very clean.
Thanks again for a wonderful vacation and please let our Tour Director Joe know how much we appreciated his thoughtful, informative narrative!

Great tour guide - Anita. Terrible first hotel (Glasgow) - construction
Love tour guides born in country - better perspective of people and their lives. Anita had great command of the history. Would recommend her to anyone. He should not have stayed at Sandman Hotel in Glasgow. Not complete, one elevator operational - had to carry luggage down stairs. Poor design on this part.

Like living in a fairy tale!
Our tour was about as perfect as we could imagine! Not only was it well-organized in ways that allowed us to maximize the diverse, incredible sites and events each day, we were also blessed with an outstanding tour guide -- Linda -- who provided a wealth of knowledge about Scotland and kept us spellbound and laughing each day! We're still amazed that 24 strangers from all over the U.S. (plus Australia) could spend such concentrated time together with absolutely no conflicts and feel like old friends by the end of the tour! Our AAA travel agent said CIE Tours is her favorite group to work with and now we understand why!

The tour was very good. Hotel in Adare was lovely. Food at hotel was very good. Didn’t like the location of the Aloft in Dublin. Phillip our driver/guide was excellent. Great stories.

They did everything well. Hotels were good except for second Clayton Hotel. I paid for 7 people to stay there and I got a cracker box size room with a 3ft. Diameter post in the room, no mirror in living area to do hair, as that was only place plug would work.. Bathroom very cramped. When on toilet and getting off the seat your head would touch the shower glass. Asked for different room, could not accommodate me that night. Next morning I insisted a room change and by afternoon I had a very nice size room. Some things needed repair.

The tour guide Becky was awesome, very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. The driver and second guide, Colm was awesome also, very personable, knowledgeable and made the trip fun. The overnight accommodation were excellent and the meals were location sensitive giving us a flavor of the countries.

A Taste of Ireland and a trip of a lifetime.
Extremely organized. The Seat Rotations on the bus, the good food at the restaurants and stay at top notch hotels, the Ferry Ride, Cliffs of Moher, kissing the Blarney Stone, The Sheep Farm, The Medieval Castle Dinner and entertainment, Step Dancing and Group Singers at the Merry Ploughboy, the diversity, and all of the other historical information, landscape and scenery were all great and enjoyable. Will definitely travel with CIE again. Love my three sweaters, and Claudaugh Ring I purchased.

It was awkward traveling solo.
Great tour, great driver. Pleasant companions but I felt weird traveling alone.

When visiting Ireland, go with the Irish experts, CIE.
Our guide Colm was fantastic. The only issue was that 2 hotels were not A/C. Fans would have helped circulate air.
