The tour was great, the tour guide was even better. Hit all the sites that were on our list.

Enjoyed our tour

The itinerary was very good and the meals and lodging provided with tour were excellent. There were not enough opportunities to stop and enjoy the scenery, but I know that is often difficult with a bus tour.

Pleased

It was a great time, our turn guide Angela was awesome and very informative. Only problem we had was flight delays so there was no one to pick us up and we had to pay for a taxi and miss the first day of the tour.

Great itinerary and hotels.

The hotels were all excellent except for the last Clayton hotel in Dublin. It was rather small. The itinerary met all of our needs for the time frame we were in both countries.

Our tour guide was very nice and knowledgeable.

We Love Ireland

We had an awesome tour of Ireland. Our tour guide Brian was so wonderful. He gave us so much insight as to the sights and people of Ireland. He was an excellent driver and very helpful with any questions or concerns we had. I would use CIE again. We plan to go back and see Scotland. We will contact CIE for sure.

It was a wonderful tour!

The tour was wonderful. I saw so many beautiful things and learned a great deal of history of Scotland and Ireland. Joe and Ian as tour guides were great! They are very knowledgeable and made the tour fun all the while keeping things in great order.

We traveled to amazing places and met some wonderful people.

Enjoyed our tour of Ireland. Our bus driver/ tour guide Murt was great! Very knowledgeable and lots of fun! We packed a lot of beautiful scenery in a week.

Tour format was well planned and the attractions we visited were the essence of Ireland. Our tour guide, Colm Willis, was excellent. His knowledge of Ireland was exceptional and he communicated very well.

PJ O’Brien is The. Best. Tour Guide. Ever! 💚

First of all, our tour guide PJ O’Brien went so far above and beyond to ensure our group had a fabulous time! I traveled solo, made so many friends & felt 100% safe the entire time. Our tour was during the St. Patrick’s Day festivities & PJ made sure, at the request of everyone on the tour, that we made it to the parade in Dublin, with plenty of time to spare, even though he had to change up our itinerary last minute. It’s no easy task & he accomplished it without a hitch. The hotels were great, the scenery was beyond beautiful, the itinerary checked all the boxes, friends, food, festivities, music, everything was such a treat! I especially enjoyed the sheepdog demonstration; the hosts offered tea & scones with jams & clotted cream… So delicious & a wonderful memory that will stay with me for a lifetime. The tour as a whole is amazing, it’s Ireland… Helloooo! I learned so much about the history of Ireland & Irish culture from PJ’s stories while we were en route between locations. Loved every moment of this tour! When you have a superb tour guide, it makes the journey so much more magical. Thanks to PJ & CIE tours!! This was my second Ireland tour with CIE & certainly not my last. Can’t wait to come back!

Well-balance tour of beautiful Scotland!

Our guide, Anita, was phenomenal. She obviously had studied Scotland extensively to provide enriching, germane commentary. I have restricted mobility and both Anita and the bus drivers were exceedingly accommodating.

The tour was well-balanced, with no stop too rushed nor too long.

Some of the provided meals were a huge disappointment, however.

A must do

wonderful staff, great trip. Titanic exhibit in Belfast was a highlight for me, my wife as a photographer was in awe the entire tour. We both loved the Border Collie rounding up sheep on the farm, Thanks for a great experience

Great trip to Ireland.

Tony our driver/tour director was knowledgeable and great at telling stories about each destination. We loved that most everything was included in the one price. The hotels and restaurants were clean and friendly. It was great not having to worry about luggage and checking in and out of each place.

Well done, will book another trip for next spring
