CIE did everything right! What a wonderful overview of Scotland and Ireland

This tour was ON POINT in so many ways! We covered so much and went to so many wonderful sites. Our hotels were outstanding and the food was top notch. Checking into hotels was a breeze and luggage was delivered and picked up directly from your room. Our tour guides and drivers were very well educated about the area, courteous and funny. An experience I'll NEVER forget on this major check off on my bucket list.

Northern Lights CIE Tour Excellent with Maria

I have recommended the Northern Lights tour to Iceland to my friends. Maria was an exceptional tour guide. She was extremely knowledgable and made the bus ride to to all the sights enjoyable. Maria went outside with us at the hotels to see the Northern Lights. Most of the hotels had a wonderful buffet breakfast. The tour was well organized allowing us to enjoy each sight without being rushed.
It was great knowing how much to tip your guide and bus driver, being able to tip in USA dollars, and to make purchases with your credit card. I would recommend that you make the bottle holders in the backpack higher; as metal bottle fell out and when you had it in the backpack the lining ripped.

All details of our trip were communicated well and clearly. All stops were enjoyable, people were so friendly everywhere we went. Travel, hotels, attractions were educational and fun. Our bus driver, Colm Willis is exceptional. Thank you. I would book with CIE again.

An Amazing Trip of a Lifetime

The booking staff was professional, patient, and informative.
The driver, Sam, and ALL the tour guides, especially the tour guide in Scotland and Galway, were awesome.

A very fast-paced tour. Would have been better if a little more free time.

The bus tour was very nice but we would have liked a little more free time in Rome. The Florence hotel was not a pleasant experience, staff not very accommodating. Also, the adapter CIE gave us did not work and blew out mine and others hair appliances. Need to supply an adapter for Europe with large AND small prong openings.
Overall, the scenery and architecture was so amazing!

Tour was great - lined up to published agenda nicely, allowed some flexibility, and was a nice balance of planned and free time. The Tour Director was amazing, great accommodations, went out of their way to make sure everyone was taken care of.
