A Tour to Remember: The Emerald Isle

My touring experience in Ireland was fantastic. This seems to have been the very best way to take-in the most from a country I'd always dreamed of visiting. CIE had done their homework and provided the best accommodations and itinerary. The coach was impeccable and comfortable. Our tour-driver was very professional, engaging with the group, and very knowledgeable and proud of his homeland.

The service to purchase the trip was great, I wanted to stay an extra day in Edinburgh and asked them to make my additional flight reservation and they took care of it.

Short tour with Outstanding Highlights

Great value for the price, our guide “Batt” was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining.

Had no problem booking the tour. Booking the flight was a a bit of a problem (45 min. to get from one concourse to another in O'Hare).

CIE is a great way to see the entire island of Ireland (including Northern Ireland). Our tour guide, David, was fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable and personable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to see Ireland and learn along the way.

CIE Tours brought us on a well planned and well executed tour of Southern Ireland. From the booking to the tour itself, communication was great and everything was as expected.

Wonderful Ireland vacation

The booking service was pretty straight forward, but we never did figure out how to have CIE book our flights for us. It worked out to book our own flights, but it would have been helpful to see if CIE could have gotten us a better deal.

Since CIE has no control over the weather our trip was perfect. Excellent hotels and food. Great local tour guides in the various locations. With narrow roads and driving on the left side of the road we were happy we elected to do the bus tour.

The last hotel's breakfast service wasn't great. The server wasn't helpful and little noisy in working. The breakfast selection wasn't as great as the other hotel we had
