5 Star Ireland with CIE

I would recommend CIE to anyone who wants to go to Ireland. It was a fabulous trip from bus to hotels to admin office to restaurants to excursions--the whole trip!
Noel was a great driver and guide. He's personable, funny, informative, smart, helpful, and, maybe most importantly, a superb driver. He can handle that huge bus in any kind of traffic, on any kind of road, in any kind of situation. It was all too short. The time shot by and was over before we knew it.

The food was wonderful at all the venues. The entertainment was good. The hotels were very good, especially The Lodge at Ashford Castle.

Maybe just a little more independent time would have been nice, but we saw all we came to see. It left us wanting more. We hope to book another tour in the future.

Booking the trip over the phone was fast and easy. We had a fantastic tour director during our trip. Wonderful experience - we'd love to travel with CIE Tours again someday.

Overall a fabulous experience!

What a wonderful time we had visiting the Emerald Isle. Top Notch hotels, the food was absolutely delicious, no extras to pay for everything was included, that itinerary included everything we wanted to see and they were all so unexpected stops for photo opportunities and enough free time to make us happy along the way. Overall a wonderful experience and I will definitely you cie tours again in the future. Highly recommend. Our tour director Tony, went above and beyond everyday and exceeded our expectations. I have no negative comments whatsoever about the trip... only that it had to end.

Dennis was amazing!

I would use them again! The tour guide Dennis Was amazing. He made sure everyone had fun and definitely kept us laughing. If I book again to go back to Ireland I would definitely ask for him to be my guide. There was a couple that had the same last name as a bar there and they asked Dennis to stop and he did. Means a lot to people to know you are spending a week with a stranger that eventually becomes your friend and shows he cares! Great job Dennis!

TRIP OF LIFETIME

I am a single dad of 2 kids, who has never been out of the states... I booked this tour as I needed a vacation and to say the least I was nervous and scared to travel alone not knowing anyone on tour. But in the long run, it was the best decision I ever made! The tour director/ coach driver was AMAZING and went out of his way on everything &anything! I went a lot of new friends and I returned home to my children who said they haven't seen dad smiling like I now do for years! So honestly if your thinking about traveling....dont be scared and take that trip...especially with CIE tours.... I had the time of my life, even tho while I was gone my home town/house was devastated with the worst flood on record! But because of my trip & adventure I came back not stressed or depressed, but instead came home with a positive attitude....I will travel CIE tours again, was thinking next year Italy, but I have to rebuild my homestead...so my next trip will be postponed a yr or two, but when I travel over seas again, it definitely will be with CIE TOURS!

A Tour to Remember: The Emerald Isle

My touring experience in Ireland was fantastic. This seems to have been the very best way to take-in the most from a country I'd always dreamed of visiting. CIE had done their homework and provided the best accommodations and itinerary. The coach was impeccable and comfortable. Our tour-driver was very professional, engaging with the group, and very knowledgeable and proud of his homeland.

The service to purchase the trip was great, I wanted to stay an extra day in Edinburgh and asked them to make my additional flight reservation and they took care of it.

Short tour with Outstanding Highlights

Great value for the price, our guide “Batt” was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining.

Had no problem booking the tour. Booking the flight was a a bit of a problem (45 min. to get from one concourse to another in O'Hare).

CIE is a great way to see the entire island of Ireland (including Northern Ireland). Our tour guide, David, was fantastic. Incredibly knowledgeable and personable. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to see Ireland and learn along the way.
