#1 complaint: CIE wanted us to put a down payment down before we had a final figure of the tour and extended stay. I was finding air fair for $800.00+ round trip and CIE never let us know what those cost were. They threatened to cancel the trip and I thought fine with me, I needed to know the total cost before I was going to give them a down payment. #2. There could have been better communication explaining the extended stay process. We included an extended stay and booked it thru CIE. CIE never informed us that the expectations from them and the process of booking B&B's. I was concerned about not hearing how that process worked, I finally had to send emails asking when we would be able to book B&B's. I was satisfied with CIE getting back to us when I sent emails questioning the process.

The trip was satisfying. The hotels you put us up in were good and food was delicious. I always felt somewhat deprived not being able to stop more for museums or informative places but when I look at the tour we took, we got exactly what we signed up for. If we wanted more there were other opportunities thru CIE to book a bigger tour. We got what we paid for. It takes a fair amount of time to cover the area the tour covered. We saw a fair amount of Southern Ireland. The stops were interesting. I did find out that CIE stops at places that support tour buses and an opportunity for the travelers to spend money. The shops were exceptional.

Agents were very helpful with booking airline flights to Dublin.

Overall a good buy and a fun trip.

We replied to an email regarding air transportation, but we were told it was premature. No one got back to us, so we overlooked it entirely and had to book our own. Our mistake, but it was upsetting.

Tanya was helpful, polite and efficient. She returned my calls and called to check I had received all of my docs. Well-done.

Good planning, nice special touches with local speakers at many stops.

Very informative, friendly guide and driver. Only downside was my early morning arrival at the airport--no one was there to greet me. Realizing I had an early flight, I specifically asked online about early pick-up. The response was that someone would be there. I ended up taking an expensive taxi.

FANTASTIC; Well Planned Vacation to Emerald Isle

Booking agents were extremely professional and worked with our group to ensure trip went smoothly including booking our airfare and transportation to/from airport in Dublin.

The places we visited were great and the people we met were very friendly.

The CIE tour was great! Our coach driver and tour guide was fantastic and made our trip wonderful. Can't say enough about the places we visited too.

Email questions were answered promptly with accurate information

Ma per noi i 5 stop per fare shopping in factory outlets or visitare fabbrica cioccolato, cristalli Waterford e due fabbriche di maglieria e confezione ci sembrano davvero troppo tempo rubato alla conoscenza del paese. De service was vanaf het begin meer dan voldoende: het vervoer vanaf en naar de luchthaven, de perfecte timing van de dagelijkse activiteiten, de keuze van hotels, de route doorheen Schotland.

Service at the airport was great -- just as advertised. Tour guide and bus driver were delightful. Tour guide was very knowledgeable.

The Highlights of Britain tour was amazing.
From beginning to end, all went well. The tour director (Kim Pyle) and bus driver (Mark) worked fantastically well together ensuring we each had beautiful memories to take home.

Enjoyable and informative trip

This was our second CIE tour of Ireland. Everything went off flawlessly.

A Trip to be Remembered

Only our first international tour so we have no similar experience for comparison but our expectations were exceeded. The tour guides provided tons of information about Scotland and Ireland..history...culture...music...some politics...and great humor. The food was outstanding. Also appreciated the variety of lodging.

CIE: Courteous, Incredible, Exceptional!

I spoke to several different booking agents throughout the entire process, and I was impressed with how patient and helpful each one of them were. Sometimes I got conflicting information as I asked questions about redeeming the trip insurance for my deceased husband, but again, each one was helpful and extremely patient. Kudos to your staff!

Fun touring Ireland

My family and I had a great time touring Ireland. It was an amazing experience and we were able to see a lot of the country and learn all about the areas we went. Brian and Roy deserve an award for best tour guide duo. Their knowledge and professionalism could not have been better. They were soooooo nice.

This may not be much of a review, but it was great!

Not sure what you mean by booking service. Not the tour itself, but the logistics folks? Everything was great. Very satisfied.

This may be off topic, but I would have appreciated an opportunity to wash our clothes mid-tour. We didn't want to travel too heavy.

Able to revised departure flight times & arrival time in Dublin to hotel

The booking process was easy. When a issue regarding 1 of our group could not make the the departure time of the CIE planned flight, the agents happily booked an alternate flight. Two of the party arrived in Dublin past the time frame for free shuttle - a taxi voucher was provided.

Excellent tour. Airline bookings allowed sufficient time between flights. Hotel accommodations and meals were very good. Our tour guide was great, very knowledgeable and entertaining.
