Taste of Ireland (Tour C) - 5 Days/4 Nights
This was our first time to Ireland and using CIE Tours. You definitely know Ireland! Willie, our guide was great, and we just loved our visit. We didn't get a chance to visit Galway so we will definitely go back one day.
I now understand why CIE is so popular with our clients.

Irish Adventure - 9 Days/8 Nights
Great itinerary but need more free time at Cliffs of Moyer and Giants Causeway. Also a more central hotel in Galway and at end in Dublin would be helpful. First hotel in Dublin was closer to interest areas and restaurants.

Taste of Iceland Coach Tour - 6 Days/5 Nights

Irish Adventure - 9 Days/8 Nights-Trip of a lifetime
Wonderful trip. Learned so much Irish history from Tony our tour guide/bus driver who made the trip so entertaining. I felt we got to see everything at a nice pace and would definitely recommend for a first time trip to Ireland. Only thing I didn’t like was the location of the last hotel in Dublin which was the Croke park hotel. Lovely hotel but I needed to walk through a terrible neighborhood where I felt unsafe. The Clayton hotel which we stayed in the first night was in a better area and walkable and felt safer.

Icelandic Explorer - 10 days/9 nights-Good Itinerary, But Would NOT use them again in Iceland
The itinerary was why I selected CIE, a tour company I had never used before. Unfortunately, the tour director, Peter, was subpar. He not only denigrated one of the tour stops (before we visited it -- the Viking film set), he skipped a tour stop without explanation -- the whaling city of Hofn (when I asked him privately, he said it wasn't worth it), he complained about CIE's timing between stops (saying it was unrealistic), his communication with the tour group was poor (he didn't post the baggage out and leave times until very late at night or not at all; after the first day, we only used the audio boxes twice, but he never told us the day before to make sure we had them; he didn't give out key information about Blue Lagoon -- like don't wear your jewelry! -- until we were there) and he didn't thank a traveler who took it upon herself to find six lost fellow travelers (Peter said he would have left them without looking for them). Besides being unprofessional, he just didn't seem to like people much. I have used many tour companies over many years (Trafalgar, Insight, Globus, AMA Waterways, Avalon, etc.). CIE is a much smaller outfit based out of Ireland. I might give them a shot on their home turf (if the itinerary was good), but I would not use them again outside of their home country. I am not convinced they have the organization in place to manage key items like hiring and training quality tour guides in far flung locations.

CIE tours made a dream come true! Our visit to Ireland was nothing short of a glorious adventure! Every promise was fulfilled, and every need was met! From accommodations, to tour guides, to the chosen locations, Everything was efficiently and carefully planned, and beautifully executed. We plan to use CIE tours again someday!

Irish Gold - 9 Days/8 Nights-A wonderful trip!
It was a wonderful but jam packed vacation. We saw everything there was to see in the Republic of Ireland. Our guide and driver were wonderful. They told stories, recommended restaurants and shopping spots and explained the history of Ireland very well. All in all, a wonderful trip.

The Irish Pub Tour- 8 Days/7 Nights-PJ Obrien Rocks!!
Our Driver PJ Obrien was excellent. Very knowledgeable of Irish history and also a great sense of humor. Was a great driver and also gave us great insights into the Irish countryside.

Ireland South Daytripper - 8 Days/7 Nights-Top notch service
The South Ireland Day tripper land tour was well organized from the time we arrived at the Shannon airport until the time we were dropped off at the Dublin hotel.. Our professional driver/guide made the trip experience exceptional along with the hotel and restaurant’s friendly staff. This was our first time booking with CIE Tours and would recommend them and choose them for future tours.
