An unbelievable Tour of Ireland

We did the 2019 Irish Gold Coach Tour 8 days/7 nights in June. We absolutely loved the tour. All 4 star hotels. The meals provided were exceptional. The sightseeing spectacular and inspiring. Our tour guide Lloyd was fantastic along with John our Cronin Coach Driver. They were so interesting and informative. They worked in some extras for the tour. I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour. We plan to book CIE in the future.

My only complaint which has nothing to do with CIE was the transport bus we paid $15 through CIE to go from our final hotel in the morning at 8:00am to the Dublin Airport. The coach didn't show up at 8:00am. Then they called the hotel saying they were 20 minutes late and would arrive by 8:30am. Then at 8:37am they called saying they were right around the corn. By 8:47am they still hadn't arrived. At that point the est. 14 people waiting like ourselves started to take cabs to Dublin Airport. When we left at 8:52am in a cab, the coach still wasn't there. So I would recommend you don't use whoever the service was to transport the travelers back to the airport.

I booked my visit to Ireland through the Dublin office. May 2019 I will always remember discovering Ireland with CIE Irish Gold Tour! The itinerary, accommodations, and food, for me, was great. This was my first solo adventure and your team of Lloyd, guide and Greg, driver added to that with their knowledge and interactions with the questions. They run a smooth CIE Coach. 👍🏻👍🏻 up! Definitely planning a return to beautiful Ireland within the next year.

Tour director & driver were great!

We've booked with CIE many times & they don't disappoint with the tours. Hotel service at 1st hotel was lacking: didn't have room access until 15 minutes before afternoon tour began; no time for freshening up after overnight flight!

Agenda completely fulfilled. Wonderful tour guide.

Our tour provided the perfect blend of historical information, beautiful scenery and fine entertainment. Our tour guide, Dennis O'Sullivan, was an expert driver, great commentator and fun loving comedian! We left Ireland full of life long memories. I highly recommend CIE.

Loved Ireland,missed A/C

Problem was lack of A/C in hotels. Trinity College was a missed opportunity to discuss its role in the Irish Revolution. Speaker wasn’t very good. Not too much of Dublin or Belfast seen.

Very helpful in taking care of the details to get us the tour we wanted.

I really enjoyed the CIE tour through southern Ireland. Our accommodations and daily tours were well planned and very enjoyable. Two friends of mine recommended this trip to me.

The Jewels of Ireland Tour is A Real Gem

We called CIE with lots of questions about the Jewels of Ireland Tour and the person we spoke with was able to answer them to our satisfaction. Dara was the person we spoke with and he helped us with finding the best time for us to schedule our tour. Once we committed to scheduling the tour and made our initial deposit, the rest was easy.

We liked the extras provided to us prior to the trip -- the backpacks with info re Ireland, a folding map of Ireland, converters for the wall outlets, rain ponchos, ID tags for our suitcases, etc.

We were very happy with our tour itinerary as it took us to so many places we wished to visit. Most of our accommodations were very good and well located. Our special dietary needs were met at almost all of the places where we stayed, as well as at dinners at other venues.

The schedule was pretty well filled and could perhaps use a little bit more free time, but on the whole, we greatly enjoyed ourselves. Our tour guide provided a lot of background information about each local area we visited, pointing out places of interest, where to find restaurants, etc. We learned some Irish history during our tour and enjoyed our various walking and building tours and tour guides as well.

Every contingency was taken care of and while there were a couple of last-minute minor changes to daily itineraries, they were dealt with to cause minimal disruption.

Choice of hotels needs improvement

Each day was well organized. We experienced a lot, but never felt rushed.

The tour guide Di was fanrastic, as was the coach driver Nevil.

It was easy to book. People were available to answer questions. I would recommend CIE and plan to book through them again.

Everything was well organized from beginning to end. Hotels were very good, entertainment and food great. Bob, driver and guide is excellent, knowledge of history of Ireland superb, blarney included. Definitely felt it was more than a
Taste of Ireland and would recommend for sure.

Yes, I would tour with CIE again. My only issue was some of the hotels were not in the city such as in Edinburgh, Scotland so we didn't have much time in the city. Same with St. Andrews.

Our First Trip with CIE Tours Won't Be Our Last!

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and the easy process to book the tour we wanted.
Our Pub & Culture Tour itinerary was well paced to include interesting activities, like a microbrewery tour and tasting, and down time, like free time at Blarney Castle. The "off the beaten path" locations we visited like The South Pole Inn were some of our favorite stops. Our driver/tour leader Matt was a very informative, funny, and an outstanding driver. He provided excellent information and kept our group moving along, on time.
I cannot say enough about how wonderful our Ireland tour with CIE Tours International was. We met amazing people, had fun experiences, and made memories that will last a lifetime.

The content of the tour was interesting. The food was abysmal. Why must all tours provide meals lacking flavor or national origin? At least give people one interesting choice and save the cafeteria food for the masses

CIE Tours is an Excellent way to vacation

CIE tours was easy to book. The driver/tour guides provided were amazing and knowledgable and so easy to talk to. They respected everyone on the tour and I would recommend CIE Tours to everyone as long as they are providing drivers and tour guides as excellent as the ones we had.

We found CIE to be an Superb choice for our Tour through England and Scotland. This Tour started in Windsor, went all the way up to Edinburgh and then down to Cardiff before ending in London. It was a Superb Itinerary. We also liked the fact that one can join a 'small group' tour --- no more than 25 people. Our Tour had 14 individuals. It was a Wonderful Tour.
