Best European tour. It was our 2nd CIE Tour.

Exceptional value and so fun!

I have to say that the tour was incredible. Our guide, Dermott was outstanding in sharing history and tale in each area we visited. Food was exceptional and most of the hotels were very good. Each and every day was so interesting.

The tour booking process was pretty seamless. We wanted to book during a promotion on airfare and the representative Michelle was fantastic. She was very helpful and knowledgeable and answered all of our questions with ease. We booked early enough and received our travel documents and information in a timely manner. We also had follow-up questions later and they were answered precisely and without issue. We definitely recommend the booking service over the phone versus online since it gives a more personable and easier experience

Scotland in 12 Days !

We just returned from our CIE Scotland Tour and could not be happier.
We booked with Vacations to Go --- Zane Boone was excellent and assisted us with just the right tour to see Scotland. CIE Tours was a Superb choice. They really know Ireland, Scotland and England. We had an excellent tour guide - Di and an excellent & safe driver. We started outside Glasgow, went North and then East ending our 12 day tour in Edinburgh. It was a Superb Tour.

Once the flight details were worked out, which were tedious, the booking service was great.

CIE Tours did a great job overall in what it offered on this small group tour of Ireland. The Classic Ireland tour allowed us to see many of the best spots in two countries. The hotel accommodations were very good (except for the ones in Dublin that were outside of the city), as were the meals provided. The dinners and show in two castles were outstanding! The tour guide could have been better, as he rarely stayed with the group on stops, often repeated himself unnecessarily, and sometimes was less than positive in answering travelers' questions. I would definitely recommend CIE trips to others.

Our tour guide and bus driver, Michael Coleman, was great. He was informative, funny and a great guy!

Booking was easy. However my husband and I ended up on a tour of all women and many had some physical limitations.

Booking was seamless and easy. I called a few times with questions and each time the person was very pleasant and helpful. Our trip was excellent as well. Our guide David Turner and our coach driver Dennis were excellent - very pleasant and superb hosts! We loved every stop. Wish we could have visited Windsor Castle which was closed and not under CIE’s control but the backup plan was fine. David adjusted schedules when we faced unexpected traffic or issues, and was very pleasant managing our very large tour group of 43. Dennis was an excellent driver driving us from place to place. Loved our trip! Can’t wait for our next one.

My dealings with the booking service were very good. We decided to book our own flights but wanted to include transfers from and to the Dublin airport. They explained how we could do that and the trip went smoothly with no problems.
