Great tour

The taste of Italy tour was to say the least fantastic. The tour guide Diana went out of her way to make sure that everyone not only got their money's worth but enjoyed themselves and also learned something of Italy. I would make this tour again.
There were however a couple of bumps in the road. We left the Scottish Castles and Clans tour to participate in the Taste of Italy. Air arrangements were made by CIE, and we were scheduled to fly with a 50 minute layover in Amsterdam. It was necessary to go completely across the airport in Amsterdam and pass through passport control and our flight in was 30 minutes late. KLM was very good about rescheduling us but we were late arriving in Venice. Since we were late there was no CIE rep to greet us at the airport and no one answered the emergency phone number supplied on our travel documents we had to pay 150 Euros for a water taxi to our hotel.

Our 1st trip to Ireland.

This was our first trip to Ireland and we were very pleased with the quality of accomodations, the friendly staff and the variety of places visited.

Mi-a placut tot turul. Foarte bine proporționate obiectivele. Am si vizitat, ne-am si relaxat. O experiență completă. Da, as recomanda si altora.

Our driver, Joe, was amazing as was the tour. We were on the Taste of Ireland and Scotland and that is exactly what it was. We saw the highlights of both great countries and now we have a list of places we need to visit to get a deeper appreciation.

Fantastic!

We had a terrific time. We choose the small group and that worked every well for us. We were a busy group and on free time we would often met the other folks unexpectedly. For instance, I decided at the last minute to attend an Irish concert by myself at a local church, and was surprised that some of the others also popped in for the concert as well.

We liked the variety of entertainment, the scenic views, the various historic sites and seeing the quaint towns and villages. Our guide Colm DunLea was the best guide we ever had in our many trips abroad.

Our tour guide Brian was AMAZING. We managed to stay completely on schedule and saw so many things throughout the entire island.

Bucket List Holiday of a Lifetime

My husband Dan and I just returned from a 3 week trip and 8 of those days were with CIE on the Adventure Tour which was so exciting! We saw more of Ireland than we would had packed in on our own. The hotels were upscale, the service professional, and our driver/guide, Jeremiah, was knowledgeable, friendly, helpful, and just such a delight. I would most certainly recommend CIE and also do another CIE tour again if I were to travel abroad to one of their service areas.

Excellent tour

Our trip driver doubled as a guide to where he was going to drive us and what we would see. He not only drove the bus, but gave history, color and commentary. He was a walking, talking and driving encyclopedia

We had an amazing vacation with CIE!

We just returned from Ireland and we had an Amazing time. Great trip for first timers. We travelled all over this beautiful country! Our tour guide Johnny kept us laughing while educating us on everything we saw! We will definitely be going back again!

I booked through my local AAA which made it easy. I like that everything is paid up front and there are no extra expenses once the trip begins. Also, everyone on the trip participates in all aspects of the tour. Our bus driver Garry was exceptional. He maintained the bus, kept it immaculate, provided water daily and kept us safe throughout. Also, I truly enjoyed our chats about history and culture.

Difficult getting to talk to someone. Expectations that all will be done online.

Absolutely wonderful!

This was the second tour I’ve taken with CIE. In both cases everything was run very efficiently and organized. I always believed I was getting great value for the money I spent. I would recommend highly recommend CIE to anyone! Thanks
