Best decision we ever made to tour a country we've always wanted to visit.

This was an excellent tour package. The choice of locations to visit, sights to see, hotel accommodations, and restaurants were all first class. Tour bus accommodations were terrific as well. Most of all, our driver and tour guide, Mort O'Shea was incredible. He is incredibly knowledgeable and personable. A definite credit to CIE and a proud Irishman. Would definitely use CIE to tour Ireland again as well as look into CIE's tours of the UK.

Booking was very easy. We did it online. The only problem we had was booking the Airport Transfers. We booked flights with CIE but has to contact customer service to ensure that the transfers were included. It was also annoying to have the pay the full balance before any credits were applied.

Northern Lights Quest of Iceland - 6 Days/5 Nights
SPECTACULAR. Each day was better than the last.

The tour was spectactular. Probably the best one I've ever been on with CIE (this was my third CIE tour). Our guide was knowledgeable and made things very interesting and always an adventure. Love the morning walks in national parks, learning about volcanoes and lava fields, seeing black sand beaches, the beautiful waterfalls, glaciers, icebergs, 'diamonds', 'bathing' in the geothermal pools outdoors in 40 degree (and less) weather, and the northern lights. Ranks up there in my top three tours. I will be returning and doing the other Iceland tour.

CIE did a fantastic job of taking care of its travelers. From the airport to every destination, we were entertained by knowledgeable/friendly guides. The destinations chosen for this trip truly gave us a taste of Scotland/Ireland. I want to specifically mention our tour guide/bus driver, Lawrence Flood- awesome!!!! Stories, sense of humor- he’s a gem!

I was amazed at how much we got to see and do. Everything was so well organized. We didn't have to worry about anything except having a great adventure and making memories. Our guide was very knowledgeable and helpful. This was an experience of a lifetime!
