Amazing trip!

CIE was very helpful in getting us all the documents and info we needed, and did a great job during the tour keeping us all on track and on schedule. The hotels were beautiful, stops were everything we hoped for and the beer was delightful. Great tour all around.

Give C.I.E. tours a try, you won't regret it!

We were met at the airport and taken as close to our hotel as possible, as we arrived on St. Patrick's Day and the roads were closed for the parade. Exceptional circumstances. Wonderful service and ideas on where to do lunch on our own, always wonderful recommendations. They got us back to the airport in plenty of time for our return flight, also. Service was wonderful.

First timers, Honeymooners!

Our tour guide Marian was excellent! She shared all of the information for each day promptly AND gave us vital information about the ins and outs of each location that we visited. She was very informative and had good recommendations for dining experiences. Our coach bus driver, Dan, was fantastic! Together they were very informative and welcoming! I would recommend this specific trip to first timers to Ireland that want the full experience of the iconic sites. This is exactly the trip that everyone needs to take!

The service actually came from Sue Collins at Avoya. CIE booked airfare for my wife and for me. My name was misspelled on my booking which then required a new reservation; thus, my reservation was no longer connected to my wife's.

Amazing trip

Our driver, Denis, was amazing. He was so knowledgeable from history to things to do, anything we asked he had an answer to. He was friendly and outgoing. All of the stops we did were great, the amazing weather helped but we saw everything we could've wanted to see. And had some great people on the tour to join us.

Better The Second Time Around

This was my third trip with CIE tours and the second time of taking this particular tour. My friend Diane wanted to go to Ireland and knew how much I love it. I said this tour gave her the most for her money and more places to see. Brian our tour guide was my tour guide before, He certainly makes the trip sound and feel real. The hotels were great and service was excelent. The only complaint was Beef and Vegtable soup, which is delicious was offered by every hotel we stayed at.

You have to CIE

This was my first experience. It was absolutely fantastic, the driver/tour guide was local and knowledgeable and amazing, and just fun to be around and made you feel very comfortable. The tour buses were very clean. The tour itself was very structured and organized, but allowed for, personal time to get to tour each location as well. I love that for each location that had a guide. Those people were also local and very well-versed and knowledgeable and engaging.

See the best of Italy over 9 days

If you ever wanted to see most of the major highlights in Italy, take this tour. Granted it doesn’t cover the whole country but I am still processing everything I saw and did. Like Venice, I fell in love with that city within four hours. Pompeii was a huge sell for me and I can’t even begin to describe it. Seeing the Vatican right before holy week was special too. The Coliseum, Murano glass factory, and on and on. Some incredible Italian food.

Knowledgeable and entertaining driver. Kept to our schedule well and made the overall experience better. Went to visit some nice places. No complaints except the weather.

Good value for the money.

Loved our driver/tour director Phil! He was very knowledgeable in Irish history. He talked about the area and points of interest too!

Our tour guide - Murt - was fantastic. We were busy every minute but we never felt rushed. It was a perfect trip.

Suburb Tour!

The CIE experience was absolutely fantastic! The guides knowledge and driving were suburb! I saw everything I wanted to and more!

Some good, some not so good.

End of february 2024.
This was our third trip to Ireland for my wife and I, and the first one for my father.

Contrary to our other trips, the backsack kits was sent to our home in Montréal,
instead of being given to us on our arrival in Ireland. A pleasant surprise.
The Dublin airport reception was very good, the lady, can't remimber her name,
was very nice and helpful. We were scheduled for a bus group transfert but finally got a private taxi transfert.

We arrived much too early at our Dublin hotel, couldnt get later flights from Montréal.
Flights were bought through CIE.
I had asked directly to the hotel for an early room access 5 days before our arrival.
There was a big rugby game the evening before our arrival, bad timing.
We did get an early access from 11:30.
Thanks going to the staff of the Clayton Hotel Ballsbridge.

Our guide/driver Lawrence was a real Irish no non-sense character that we really liked.
The group wasnt very energetic/interactive but was getting better on the last two days, not CIEs fault though.

The coach was very confortable, clean and recent with good wi-fi.
We had an early flight out on our last day.
I had to personnally ask the hotel manager for a takeout breakfast the evening before.
We would of though that CIE had already asked for this, since they knew our flight time, not so.

Murt was outstanding!

Outstanding! Tour guide Murt elevated an already great experience with his knowledge and wit. The tour was very well organized - beautiful sites, great accommodations and food. Would highly recommend it!

CIE Tours made my goal of touring Ireland easy to accomplish!
