We truly enjoyed our honeymoon. Great sights, wonderful tour guides and bus driver.
However, we did not like or enjoy the Taste of Ireland Tour in Belfast. My husband and I had already set up to meet friends who live in Northern Ireland on a specific day and we had to change our/their plans at the last minute because of the CIE tour schedule being changed. It was alot of walking after we had done an excessive amount of walking that day, very little food and it was just not enjoyable. I suggest you take this out or improve it!

Absolutely!!....just about everything was great--tour director (Patrick), driver (Paul), the Castles, the history, the individual tours and the people that gave the tours, the food, the hotels, the Scotish people, the fact that everyone spoke English, even tho you had to pay close attention sometimes....I didn't like the way they measure out their drinks in those 25 ml cups...you definitely do not get your money's worth, but they make great cocktails and I got a few new recipes...

The booking service was awesome. Ian McCarthy was extremely helpful and patient with all my questions. When I did have to call regarding the final payment, the person on the telephone was courteous and helpful too.

"Fantastic" Wild Atlantic Way

2 couples, my wife and I participated in the Wild Atlantic Way tour that started June 17, 2019. Our guide/driver Sean was great as was the food, hotels, pubs, music and attractions. The weather was an added bonus with some days in the 70's and rain was never an issue.

Booking the trip was easy. Great response and excellent info via email and mail. Was disappointed to find out a hotel change was made without any notification. We found out from our transport guy.

Irish Adventure is a quick way to see Ireland in a short amount of time.

I have toured with CIE before but do not remember there being no AC in most of the hotels like on this trip, Irish Adventure. I brought my family with me this time, and several of the nights were just too hot and miserable to sleep well. If there is a next time, I will check each hotel to see if there is AC before making a reservation. In addition, the breakfasts all seemed to be the same with the buffet being limited as compared to other trips I've been on. In addition, eating a sit down dinner at 7 PM that takes 2 hours to complete is way too late after a day of long day of touring. Other that that, my family had a great time and really enjoyed Brian H.'s stories, commentary, and songs.

Good accomodations and food. Tours were first class and interesting venues.

most of our experience was very good. However we wanted to add an extra day to our stay in Dublin before tour started. When I requested the extra day the CIE representative said we should book with another hotel because price was very expensive at Clayton ballsbridge. He booked a different hotel which meant we would have to bring our luggage to Clayton after one night. Some time later I looked up The Clayton Ballsbridge on Hotels.com and got a cheaper price than at the second hotel the CIE rep wanted to send us to! Not too happy about that.

I would highly recommend CIE tours. It is first class all the way!

As first time travelers to a foreign country, my husband and I had a great experience. Our friend initiated our booking, but CIE"s online booking was easy to use.

Outstanding customer service

We booked through a third party and we wished we had booked directly with CIE. Traveling companions that booked directly w CIE had a much smoother experience. We really need to commend the CIE kiosk in Dublin because when our flight arrived late and we missed our connecting flight to Glasgow, the CIE rep stayed with us until we were able to procure a flight. He also notified our tour guide of our delay. Outstanding customer service with the one small glitch that they changed hotel without notifying us. I believe they notified the third party provider and they were the ones who didn’t notify us, and not CIE

Brilliant tour guide and driver. Fantastic. They wereso organized.

excellent. Only problem we ran into was on arrival at Heathrow no one waiting to take us to our Hotel. Took me an hour to figure out what to do as we couldn’t get phones to work. After I quit panicking I looked up exact name of hotel and address from print out and managed to get a taxi. Cost us forty pounds. Would like refund.
But Already picked out CIE trip for next year. Looking forward to it.

We booked the Grand Tour of Britain and Ireland. It was a long and busy trip. We booked online without a travel agent and the process was very easy.

Fun tour, fast paced, lots to see and do. a great start to seeing Wales.

I really enjoyed this tour. Becky may be the absolute best tour guide in the business. I have already recommended CIE to many friends. There were so many things to see on this tour, I wish we could have had more time in each location. This is a good sampler of what there is to do. We had an absolutely fantastic group!
