What can I say; booking was a breeze, staff were amazing, rates were top notch, itinerary was PHENOMENAL, and Ireland was AMAZING!! I don't just give 5 star ratings unless they've been earned, and CIE Tours International is the way to go! My wife and I were on our honeymoon (9/18) and CIE went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of at every beautiful stop. The attention to detail they put into making sure their tours are top of the line is truly second to none! A+++ experience!!!

We booked our tour online and had no problems at all. The booking system was very easy to use. We did an 8 day Irish Pub tour which covered southern Ireland and had some fantastic experiences. The transportation was comfortable and the location of the accommodation was central to attractions. We had a fabulous time, which was made more fun by the others on the tour. I would love to travel with CIE again, and already have a growing wish list.

I would use them again! The tour guide Dennis Was amazing. He made sure everyone had fun and definitely kept us laughing. If I book again to go back to Ireland I would definitely ask for him to be my guide. There was a couple that had the same last name as a bar there and they asked Dennis to stop and he did. Means a lot to people to know you are spending a week with a stranger that eventually becomes your friend and shows he cares! Great job Dennis! ( I am trying to attach pictures but it’s not letting me)

We absolutely loved the CIE Pub Tour! Everything was so well organized. We were able to see a lot more sights than if we were traveling by ourselves. We also still had lots of free time in the afternoon and evenings to go explore places that were not on the tour. Also, our bus driver was fantastic! He knew the history of Ireland inside and out and was very funny and professional!

Our tour guide was Michael and he was excellent - his stories, jokes and knowledge kept us all entertained. But don't mention Brexit! Loved the small tour as opposed to the larger bus. Everyone got along really well! Accommodation was fine but meals were all a bit same same

Upon booking our trip we were not given the option to take a 8 or 9 day trip. We were only told of the 9 days. Because of the 9th day we had several issues because of the Papal visit. The trip itself was amazing but when issues arose there was very little communication between CIE tours and my party. It was extremely difficult to get in contact with anyone. We needed to switch hotels because of the Papal visit and we were not given the information about who our transfer was with or what hotel we were going to. The stress of this completely altered our trip. The family back in the states were attempting to call CIE tours and the customer service representative was rude and not helpful. Upon our return to the States, trying to contact someone was extremely difficult. Weeks would go by without a call back. Mistakes were made when issuing a refunds and it was extremely frustrating. We did not feel like a priority or that our business mattered. I returned to the states on 8/25 and my issue was resolved 11/9.

There are many tours and prices to choose from, but from booking to departure CIE tours did a fanominal job. John, our driver, was very professional yet he gave us a inner glimpse of the daily life of the Irish people. We booked a day early and stay in Dublin. We caught up on our sleep and explored the city on our own.

Everything was excellent from the hotels we stayed at to the meals and especially our tour guide and bus driver Matt Nolan who made us feel very welcome in Ireland. I would highly recommend cie tours to anyone looking to tour Ireland, and I have.

Every facet of our trip was excellent and perfect! Denis O'Sullivan was exemplary as a driver /guide: versed in history, social information, and repartee. The bus was comfortable and meticulously clean inside and out. I recommend CIE to everyone I talk to and will definitely take another tour with CIE. I loved the hotels, border collie herding, Irish coffee, as well as the Guinness and Smithwicks tours. The balance of tourist spots and local pubs gave a balance to the trip and I fell in love with the beautiful countryside and, most of all, the people I met in the pubs. Easily the best trip I have taken. Thanks to CIE for their impeccable attention to detail. There were no flaws in their organization and Denis made everything happen perfectly and on time. The four of us have nothing but wonderful memories and photos. Karin
