Taste of Ireland (Tour C) - 5 Days/4 Nights
The tour was excellent. However, we were disappointed in that we had a 5 day tour. The first day was a hop-on-hop-off bus in Dublin. We did not get to Dublin until the next morning and we had to wait until the trou started on the second day to be able to check into our hotel. We feel we should have been able to check in when we arrived since we were part of the 5 day tour.

Excellent tour guide and driver. 14 day tour of England's historical highlights was very well organized, although I would personally have preferred to stay in Oxford for a couple of days and omitted Liverpool entirely, as I am not a Beatles fan.

Scots Irish Tour - 15 Days/14 Nights
Legendary Unforgettable Incredible Honeymoon
My husband and I had an incredible honeymoon thanks to CIE Tours. My parents used CIE Tours back in 2003 for Ireland only and had recommended them to me for many years. I had been to Ireland back in 2014 on my own due to it being early March and the off season, so I wanted to make sure my honeymoon back there was in May 2026 when the tours were running. I had a much better experience this time around and my husband enjoyed his first trip to Europe. Our Scottish tour guide was Jackie Muller. She gave us an incredible tour of Scotland and wrote a VERY beautiful poem about my husband and me for our honeymoon describing our many adventures in Scotland. Our Irish tour guide and driver was John MacTavish. He is an incredible driver! He is also very personable, knowledgeable, fun, and entertaining. I highly recommend CIE Tours to anyone who wants to see ALOT of Ireland and Scotland.

Ireland Walking & Hiking: Cork to Kerry - 9 Days/8 Nights
Our vacation, group size, and CIE tour guides fully exceeded expectations!
The tour itinerary was exceptional. Our tour guides had extensive knowledge of the history and outdoor nature (plant and animal life) at each of these sites. The hiking within national parks and nature reserves could not have been more beautiful. We would highly recommend the CIE Southern Ireland Walking Hiking Tour. Don't hesitate to book it - you will not regret it!

Recommend CIE
Our bus driver and our tour guide Mary and Onya were terrific in every way. Our first hotel room Doubletree in Glasgow was horrible, smelled like cat litter. It was stuffy and gross. Our hotel room smelled and our shower kept overflowing to our bathroom floor. Second hotel was a little better, but our shower wouldn’t turn off.. Our third hotel in the Delamo country club was excellent. Burned out a hairdryer and a straightener due to the voltage difference. Tour was excellent. AAA agent wasn’t always available for help and guidance

The whole Experience was fantastic! Tour was fantastic, especially Michael Coleman, the bus driver/tour guide. Everything was so well planned out with enough time do everything. The whole Experience was fantastic!

I'd certainly go again!
Fantastic tour! This was the first time that I have taken a bus tour and would highly recommend it. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and had a great personality, he was very attentive to the needs of the people on the bus. He could adapt very quickly. The pace of the tour was also great. Lots of points of interest, not too long on the bus itself and the spots we attended were great!

CIE Tours was the best! Great staff and schedule.
Could not have asked for a better time and crew on our tour. Sany Low in Scotland and Thomas O'Connor in Ireland were the absolute best. They turned a group of strangers on a coach into a family! Also, they were so informative and never turned down a question. Outstanding tour!

Best Tour EVER!!
Alistair was our guide and Mick was the bus driver. They made this the absolute best tour we have ever been on. It of course helps that you get to go around the entire island of Ireland and see so many amazing sites. The pictures and reviews will never do it justice. Do yourself the biggest favor and just GO!!!

CIE failed to properly register our tour bus in England
Proper registration of tour bus should be handled before allowing a large group to tour England. Impounding our bus wasted one half day of our tour. As a single I paid over $500 per day for this tour so they wasted half of that by not doing proper paperwork in advance. Tour director and bus driver were excellent, the problem was not their fault. I think CIE should refund half of my payment for that day in Canterbury.

This land tour is highly recommended for many reasons: excellent itinerary, captivating tales from tour guides, spectacular landscapes, and wonderful hotel accommodations.
Seeing the most amazing sights and learning the history makes this experience memorable.
The rollout of events was perfectly timed and coordinated.
