Very impressed by CIE!

First class all the way! I was nervous how I would find my way to a transfer to my hotel in Iceland and our bus driver Jón Ragnar was right there with a smiling face and warm welcome at the airport the minute we landed! Our bags were always on the move by CIE and our tour guide and driver took great care of us during the entire trip. We didn’t question any of it as we always knew what to expect every day. The bus was comfortable, warm and safe. The hotels were amazing and we were well protected everywhere we visited. CIE was top notch for us during this trip out of the country.

Great trip for a Taste of Italy

everything went as planned, our tour director diana was great. she was knowledgeable about all the sites we visited, she made sure evrerything was correct and she interacted with all us tourists.

The itinerary and hotels/meals were very nicely done. The bus driver was entertaining. It would have been nice to have a real guide, as opposed to the bus driver being the "guide."

The Perfect Italy Vacation

Our tour to Italy was absolutely amazing. Our Tour Director and Bus Driver were fantastic. We wouldn't have traveled to Europe any other way and received as much information, history, and satisfaction of our trip. Diana O, our Tour Director, went above and beyond and was funny, intelligent, and fun to be with. She made sure our group was well taken care of. Rocco, our driver, made us feel safe and was always on time. The local Tour Directors were so knowledgeable and we enjoyed each day.
We don't have any complaints about our trip. Thank you CIE Tours for making our dream vacation come true.

Wonderful tour of Southern Ireland!

The whole experience from selecting the tour, through the return home we were treated to exceptional service. When we viewed the tours on the CIE website we received an email and call from Patty Kole at Ayova travel. She set everything up and found us discounts from the advertised prices! Our driver, Philip Smith, was so friendly and knowledgeable! He made the trip truly a fun adventure. The itinerary with the beautiful views of Ireland and the fine hotels with walking tours of several of the cities was amazing! This was our 5th CIE tour and we will be back again!

Amazing Tour

Everything was wonderful on this tour. Our guide Brian was absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. I feel all activities were very well scheduled with the perfect amount of time. The only thing I can really complain about is the Wi-Fi on the bus was very spotty and did not work more than half the time. All and all I would recommend this trip to anyone!

Great tour

Overall very pleased. The tour leader was especially nice and very knowledgeable. Bus in great condition and hotels “posh,”. Nice group of people. I would take a tour with CIE again and recommend it.

Awesome tour. You see a lot of Ireland. Excellent food and driver

The Irish Adventure tour was well organized, food was great with lots of choice on the menus, accommodation was good .Last two hotels were outside city center. Brian our guide/driver was amazing. He kept us on schedule, delivered lots of info and stories and jokes to amuse us along the way. The tour is fast-paced with not a lot of time to shop, but that is not what I was there for. Only one issue at hotel in Killarney regarding no heat in my room, but was rectified next day.

CIE Tours Excels: Emerald Isle Experience

The Irish Adventure Tour provides a full circuit of the island, with breath-taking vistas and stops in historically critical cities telling the whole story of the renown Emerald Island. The bus driver tour guide was deeply versed in history and cultural stories and tales, and even broke out in songs. He was personable, highly professional, exhibited servant leadership, and added interesting insights and humor to our days. CIE Tours used high quality comfortable, hotels, and incorporated delicious regional meals along the way. The tour included a variety of extras, such as luggage portage, vouchers for impactful museums and transportation from airport to hotel. Having traveled with a variety of tour companies in the past, CIE tours rates top among the best of them.

Iceland is beautiful

Our first tour. Great trip, tour guide & driver. Everyone - Go to Iceland!

We would recommend CIE tours to family and friends. We intent to book another longer tour with them in the near furture. We booked everything through our travel agent and she said CIE was very easy to work with.

Our tour guide, Maria, was excellent. She was professional, knowledgeable, oragnized and quick to answer any questions we had. She knew about local customs, traditions and folklore. She provided this information in a most enjoyuable way, both during the busl rides and the walking parts of the tour. The green audio system was wonderful and really added to the experience.

Twice, Maria had to adjust our daily tour schedule on the fly due to circumstances beyond her control. Both times her decisions were made quickly and we experienced no loss of time or disruption to our schedule. Maria was always aware of the potential for the need of a bathroom break, and made a point to describe the upcoming options for each segment of the day. (That action, while perhaps not often mentioned, made each day stress-free, at least from one perspective.)

Our bus driver, Gummi was also excellent. He certainly knows how to handle a large tour bus in interesting weather conditions and crowded parking lots.

All hotel accommodations were clean and comfortable. All meals were well planned, served without delay and were delicious (except for dessert on the final night, which was great, but took FOREVER!)

Booking was done by our travel agent. I'm late in doing this review but our family of 6 had an amazing time celebrating our 50th Wedding Anniversary! Lloyd and Raymond were outstanding and attended to every detail. We chose a wonderful itinerary and your staff far exceeded our expectations. Thank you CIE!

Beautiful scenery but inconsistent food and lodging

Booking was easy. Customer service representative was helpful and knowledgeable.

At times, it was difficult to view certain pages on a phone v. a tablet or computer screen.

Booking thru vacations to go not best but tour was r crllent

This is the second time that I have used CIE. Everything went smoothly and the trip was wonderful. I will definitely use them again for another time
