Darrah, our Irish driver was wonderful. His local knowledge helped us understand the local communities and his demeanor kept us happy and entertained. I'd ride with him again.

CIE MADE AN AMAZING TRIP EVEN BETTER.

Cie made my honeymoon so much more enjoyable. I didn’t have to worry about anything. All I had to do was show up. From meals to what hotel we were staying it, it was all worked out for us. Our tour guide Dee and Bus driver Teri ( i know I spelled that wrong) were phenomenal!! I honestly don’t know how they make any money for what we paid. All the hotels and meals were amazing.

Fun trip! The only thing I would change would be to skip the hurding experience in Ireland. We did basically the same thing in Scotland. The one in Scotland was so good.

Northern Lights Quest of Iceland - 6 Days/5 Nights
good value

Overall service was good. I wish there was more effort into educating us on the Northern lights and capturing them at the start of the tour. Also, midway at our hotel where we had the best chance of seeing the Northern lights, we were accidentally given the wrong room location on the other side of the hotel. Some of the guests were lucky enough to see an amazing light show but we missed it since we were on the other side of the hotel. There was no effort on the hotel's part/tour to contact us during the actual appearance of the lights. That was so upsetting. There was also a change in our schedule to search for the lights one night due to weather - the weather was not so clear. I wish they would have stuck with the search that evening...it would have been a fun adventure to go on the search even if we did not see the lights that evening. There were a few missed opportunities to see the lights when we could have (as we know others did and had proof) and that was my biggest disappointment.

I would recommend CIE for future travel tours.

The tour was extremely well organized. There were some visits where I wish we could have stayed longer. The tour guide was excellent with local history and great detail.

Dec 10-16 3023 A Taste of Ireland with our amazing guide Patrick Smith. So much fun- we sang a lot on the bus and had a great group of people to enjoy this trip with. Patrick took us to see where the telegraph from CANADA came in and due to good weather we got to see the Skellig Islands. I really enjoyed being at the Cliffs of Moher.

Great tours, accommodation, food and scenery. Didn’t like tour guide.

Loved tour of Ireland, Great variety. Great accommodations, food and entertainment. Found tour guide not very friendly towards us, had his favourites, tour geared towards Americans conversationally, which I understand as we were the only non Americans on the bus, disappointed it wasn’t more international people. Tipping was ridiculous, as we already paid a lot of money for the tour. Wouldn’t travel with CIE again based on it really is geared towards Americans, no prejudice (we know and love lots of Americans) and we understand that is your client base, just would have booked differently. I would recommend the tour itself but would caution Canadian friends it’s likely they would be the only non Americans on the tour.
