Irish Adventure

Fantastic tour! Very well organized, beautiful accommodations and great history lesson of the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland! Couldn’t ask for a better tour guide than Brian Hanrahan! He had me learning, LAUGHING & even shedding a few tears with his heartwarming stories and singing! A++
Met wonderful people in our tour group as well. So fun!

Beautiful Scotland

This is the second time we have taken our four grandchildren on tour with CIE. This year it was Scotland, in 2019 we saw the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland with CIE. Both trips were wonderful.

Stress free travel

I would definitely recommend CIE Tours based on our experience. Our coach driver Sam was wonderful. The rooms and hotels were excellent. The stops were well planned. All very stress free.

We’re planning a trip to I eland in 3 years. Will definitely consider CIE.

Once we arrived in Ireland everything was perfectly arranged. Our only problem with CIE was the difficulty of getting an agent on the line. When they did answer, however, they took all of the time needed.

Most Fantastic Trip Ever

I would book a CIE tour again. My travel agent was very helpful in booking this trip, but she was not from CIE. The thing that made our trip the best was that CIE has the most incredible top-notch tour guide Marlene Sullivan that really brings the history of Ireland alive and really makes the tour a joy to be on. To me she felt like a favorite aunt always looking out for us. She also made my birthday and my wife's birthday a really great experience filled with fun. Yes, you heard that right, my birthday and my wife's birthday are only two days apart and we celebrated them while on the CIE tour. Then you have a really outstanding bus driver Domhnall Healy as well that really makes you feel safe with his superb driving. The way these two individuals represent CIE, they should be the role models for all new staff members to learn from because they were extremely fantastic in their roles.

Absolutely amazing trip!

We originally booked our trip for March of 2020. We were finally able to go in June 2022. It was amazing!!! PJ, our tour guide, was phenomenal. He was kind, funny, and extremely knowledgeable. It was great not having to worry about booking hotels and attractions or driving from one location to the next. Just hop on the coach and PJ got us there. All we had to do was enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ireland. The tour packed in all the must-see attractions along with places we didn’t know we wanted to see, and we loved every part. We will definitely book another tour with CIE in the future. Thanks for a memorable and fun experience!

Great Irish Adventure

The staff was very friendly and answered all of my questions prior to the trip. The tour was fabulous. Our guide, Paddy was great. Would book again.

The guide was great, the bus was outstanding, the itinerary was packed but doable. But they could not help me get my luggage from the airline. Probably not their fault because the airlines are so screwed up.

Had an enjoyable trip

The trip went well and we saw many great places but a lot of time on the bus. Some spots needed more time to explore. Our driver Jacqui was awesome. So friendly and helpful.

Incredible

We had the most incredible time. Our driver and tour guide were kind and funny, they were a joy to travel with throughout Scotland. I highly recommend this tour if you want to get a nice taste of Scotland.

The itinerary of the trip was exceptional. Although the whisky tasting was unavailable a very nice gin tasting was substituted and was enjoyed. Although the brand new coach had issues, which caused us to lose half a day of traveling, Keith was an exceptional driver. The coach was comfortable and we very much appreciated the large windows. The hotels were very nice except for the Columba in Inverness which was very shabby, and exceptionally hot although the food was cold and just not good. The breakfast was also not good, getting there when it opened they were already 'out' of some basic things and even the toaster even caught fire. The man in charge told us it was his last day. That hotel needs to be changed. Our guide Linda was very knowledgeable and humorous.

Fun, beautiful, relaxing and so well organized.

The entire tour was perfect. Joe Lavery was an amazing guide. He was so knowledgeable about Ireland and each region we toured. Joe made everyone feal at ease. His commentary was very informative enlightening and witty. It was so enjoyable to hear his personal experiences too. The trip was very well organized from luggage transfers, overall scheduling, announcements, and meals. The coach was always clean and Fergal was a fantastic driver. We had such a great experience with CIE tours that we are planning to do another tour through Italy with CIE next year.

Amazing Trip

Your tour guide Graham Bruce was the best. He truly made the trip unforgettable. I went solo but was made comfortable and welcome by both cie and my fellow tour group people. I would highly recommend cie to anyone wanting to travel to Scotland.
