CIE had everything figured out for us. Very enjoyable experience. We will book with them again in the future.

You feel safe and see a lot of sites with meals.

Great, they even did my plane arrangements. It went well.

While the first half of our tour was most pleasant I am sad to report an incident on the second half that has polluted the a very positive and effective trip.
On the morning of October 18, our guide, Lloyd Creach reported a tooth ache and sinus infection that was causing him some discomfort. He had no medications but was able to get some pain relievers from one of the guests. He did well through the morning and afternoon.
The trouble began on our return trip to Calway. We encountered some heavy traffic which added 1.5 hours to the last two miles of the trip. Without notice, our guide left the coach in the middle of traffic (it was stopped). The next hour was miserable for everyone but made worse by the unexplained absence of our guide.
The next morning our guide made an “apology” of sorts where he informed us that his work was done for the day when he left the coach, that his needs and where he went was no one’s business but his own. He went on to share that he left to get to a pharmacy before it closed so a to treat his tooth ache and sinus pain.
I certainly have empathy for those in pain and would not stand in the way of their relief. The whole coach would have supported him had he made this known before leaving. Rather his silence was a great disrespect to those he had confided in earlier, for those who had earlier offered him aid and all who had to remain on a slowly moving bus. Many of us would have gladly left at the same moment. His defiant attitude the next day showed he has no appreciation for the trust and confidence he lost.
It is difficult to say whether the very positive experience of Scotland will displace the distaste of this event. It is certain that our abandonment will be a family legacy sadly associated with CIE.

Idyllic Icelandic Tour

Everything was taken care of so we could enjoy our trip. Outstanding tour guide, wonderful driver, absolutely fabulous itinerary.

First night was never booked luckily we brought proof got our room late

Both the guide and the drive made every effort for an enjoyable trip and our guide (David) always provide great commentary and suggestions on local attractions.

Our tour guide was very informative on each location and helpful with older people getting in & out of bus.
The backpack, strap, and information sent beforehand was excellent
The accommodations were great, when needed something was gotten rapidly. All restaurants were exceptional. Food was fantastic. I would recommend CIE to everyone interested.

Since I could not get through to your main booking you sent me to a travel agent. He was very helpful and eventually resolved some issues but you should e taking bookings with your own knowledgeable people.

Our tour guide/bus driver was excellent and made our trip one that I will always remember. Murt gave us information about Irish history and also about present day events and every day life in Ireland. All the tips of where to go and suggestions of what to eat were right on target.When I talk about the trip it all comes back to how Murt made our trip the best it could be.

The trip was amazing. Murt O’Shea was fantastic.
We couldn’t have asked for anything better will definitely be using CIE again.

Staff and drivers were great.

The staff were well versed and told many Irish stories. Made the rides go fast. They were very caring about the visitors who were using their services.

A fantastic taste of Ireland

The tour really did give us a fantastic taste of Ireland! It was well-organized and took us to the best spots for photos, shopping, and places to eat. The tour bus was clean and comfortable. All the hotels were nice and gave good breakfast. Our tour guide was kind and knowledgeable. I enjoyed everything we did only wish we had time to do more but that is for another trip. I highly recommend this tour for any first time Ireland visitors like myself!

CIE did everything right! What a wonderful overview of Scotland and Ireland

This tour was ON POINT in so many ways! We covered so much and went to so many wonderful sites. Our hotels were outstanding and the food was top notch. Checking into hotels was a breeze and luggage was delivered and picked up directly from your room. Our tour guides and drivers were very well educated about the area, courteous and funny. An experience I'll NEVER forget on this major check off on my bucket list.
