Nice coaches, lovely hotels, nice drivers.

Needed more history type info on the Scotland trip. Couldn't turn the Irish guide off. In contrast, 5 years ago, Rose Petrie had maps and song handouts, taught us the names of things, played games with us (the prize was a bag of haggis chips), and made the trip memorable.
I liked having all the entry tickets paid for up front too. Great value.

Great tour and a good value for the price.

The tour was wonderful. The itinerary was a great value for the price paid. The tour director did a great job of narrating our trip. He was both funny, entertaining and informative. The hotels that we stayed in were all very nice. The meals were very good.
The only negatives are that a few of the stops on the itinerary could be better, and one night were we were dining on our own was in a hotel that did not have many dining options within easy walking distance.

Our tour guide John Callinan was amazing. He was funny and informative. He was polite and respectful. He really made the trip wonderful. I enjoyed most of the excursions, with the exception of the free time in Dublin. There wasn't enough time to do what we wanted, and we were kind of left adrift. There was quite a range with the quality of the accommodations from very good to quite poor. Especially the hotel in derry which was very poor, and we unfortunately spent 2 nights there.

It was a very well run tour some of the hotels are a little run down you need elevators in guest houses being 79 and expecting me to walk up three flights of stairs is no good I had to be moved to the first floor. That brings up the fact that you don't understand the market ,you have more people like myself that are older

Excellent tour

Very helpful in planning. Had to cancel and reschedule due to an illness. They were so helpful.

My only major complaint was that when I arrived in Glasgow I had to hire a taxi to take me to the appointed hotel. For some reason they didn't have me booked for a transfer from the airport to this hotel. It was highly inconvenient and I never had this experience before!

This was my second tour and I couldn't be happier. Unfortunately was sick for half of it as well as other tour members. But other than that it was great. Having some of the hotels fix me a "Hot Toddy" was great as it did make me feel better. Thanks for a great time. I recommend you to everyone.

Surprisingly nice tour of Scotland.

Booking was pretty good, felt the first girl I had contact with didn't really understand what I wanted. Went with it anyway. Others that I dealt with were good. Had to call back to get the transfers. Should have been offered from the start since I bought the airfare from them.

Extremely easy to plan a very full-featured vacation!

Extremely easy and transparent! We had very little time to plan and the website allowed us to pick exactly the vacation we wanted at the exact time we wanted it. Couldn't have been easier!

When my wife and I decided to take a private driver tour to Ireland, I interviewed 3 different tour companies. CIE was the only company who allowed us to customize our tour seeing just what we wanted. Our driver/guide, John was amazing and the hotels and castle was perfect. Would have no reservation in recommending CIE to anyone!

Wouldn't change a thing!

There are many tours and prices to choose from, but from booking to departure CIE tours did a fanominal job. John, our driver, was very professional yet he gave us a inner glimpse of the daily life of the Irish people. We booked a day early and stay in Dublin. We caught up on our sleep and explored the city on our own.

I was very pleased with the service received through e- mail and telephone. When I had questions, responses from staff were prompt, courteous, and very helpful. We were equally pleased with the actual tour, the coach driver/ guide was great and all of the local guides were pleasant, humorous and very enjoyable.as well as being knowledgeable.
We only had one hiccup - we did not receive our tour packages (back packs, luggage straps, guide book etc.). We advised our driver and he and our local guide made arrangements to have the packages catch up with us eventually, although we never did receive the guide book , which apparently had useful information in it.

Best tour ever!

From the initial contact (Website) thru the booking process, everything was easy and "just right". Best thing was everything ended up just as expected - travel, accommodations, meals, tours----and costs. We all agreed this was one of the best tours we have ever been on! Thank you.
